I'm glad you made it TBH. I was pissed my thread got thrown in the Adelaide byrd merger. It was only up for about 10 mins. Maybe some SJW had a tantrum so they moved mine.

This is a real issue and if people talk about it and support it, it can gain traction.

Unfortunately, the damage is done.

But, regardless of why and how it happened, anytime scandalous boxing judging (and scandalous Vegas boxing judging) is pushed back upon, the sport wins.

Even if it takes yet another atrocious scorecard before it happens.

 

Yes. Boxing scoring is very subjective. With this type of scoring, I have doubt to put it on the hand of a female judge.
I mean Byrd score was 8 points different to her closest counterpart. How can you possibly deviate so much when you only have 12 points to play with?

 

CJ Ross all over again. By the way in that link, look at those stills of those two right hands Canelo landed on G, especially that snapshot in the video preview. Right on the chin.

 

I think Teddy Atlas needs to be disciplined as well for scoring the fight 118-110, the same score as Byrd for the other guy. Combined with his incredibly biased commentary in Pac - Horn, I think Teddy should be removed from commentating live events at the very least.

 

I applaud NSAC decision. Something has to be done and this type of questionable card has to be put under scrutiny.

I'm sorry, but 10-2 for GGG is way much better and acceptable than the other way around. I score the fight 9-3 for GGG. Both HBO and the British TV scored it 8-4 for GGG as well as countless scribes.

No it's not, and saying that loses you credibility and shows your bias. I'm a Canelo fan and anyone who claims that G only won 2 rounds or that Canelo only won 2 rounds is clearly delusional.

Nope not bias. I really did have GGG won 9-3. Canelo mostly fought 1 minute of every rounds. I gave lots of rounds to GGG because of that.
