Adalaide Byrd has supposedly been added to the pool of potential judges by the Nevada State Athletic Commission to represent Canelo and Jacobs in their upcoming bout. Does anyone else think it's absolutely ludicrous to have Byrd as even a possible selection? If I were in Jacobs' shoes I would be doing everything in my power to stop her from being anywhere near one of the 3 judges at ringside. Aside from his loss to Mayweather, Canelo has had multiple decisions go his way that were arguably incorrect such as the Lara fight, his rematch with Golovkin and definitely their first fight. But it appears that Canelo really is a bit of a unit at middleweight aside from being very skilful and if Golovkin was unable to even make him touch the canvas after sharing 24 rounds together I can't see anyone at 160 having the firepower to stop him... which ends up leaving decisions in the hands of the judges and if its been a close fought fight there's only going to be one winner and we all know who that'll be. So I really hope Byrd doesn't get selected as a judge for this bout, it would be nice for once to have some actual honest judging for once in a Canelo fight, however I just can't see this happening sadly.
