Fair enough, I still can't understand how he could lose 16odd kilos without chopping off a leg though
Sounds like he's brought the weight off the correct way, with a lot of hard work. He'll be a real handful at Cruiser IMO.
In a unanimous points decision, WA boxer Adam "A-Bomb" Forsyth last night made it six straight wins, securing victory over NSW fighter Anthony McCracken at the Brisbane Convention Centre. The eight round bout went the distance with Forsyth relishing the opportunity to test his stamina against 26-year-old McCracken. "I knocked him out in the first round and knew I was dominating so when he came back at me I decided to grab the chance to test myself over eight rounds," said Forsyth. "This bout went longer than all my other pro fights combined and has left me hungry to take on even tougher opponents." The 28-year-old Athens Olympian will get an opportunity to do just that when he matches up against Australian cruiserweight champion Daniel "The Doberman" Ammann, 26, on December 4 in Newcastle. It will be his third fight in five weeks. On October 30, New Zealand-born Forsyth made a triumphant return to boxing after a nearly 12-month break to recover from niggling injuries, securing a first round KO victory against New Zealander Shaun Salisbury in Sydney. "Taking on Daniel's going to force me to step up one more notch that's for sure, but I'm really happy with how I've performed in these two bouts and have learned a lot about myself as a fighter in the past few months," Forsyth said. New South Wales-born southpaw fighter Ammann has an 18-win, 2-loss, 1-draw record and will be fighting above his regular weight division against Forsyth who is now training under German-born Olympian Karl-Heinz Krüger. A three-times New Zealand champion and five-times Australian champion, Forsyth represented Australia at the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, making it into the quarterfinals after defeating Croatia's Vedran Djipalo. Forsyth turned pro in June 2008 with his professional record standing at six wins from six fights - with five KO's.
