Big talent getting big fights, who would of thought it eh!......and yet the forum resident 'expert on everything' was declaring him a numpty who's been mismanaged.

 

That was me saying he ain’t fighting hitchins in the next 12 months. That much I know for sure, after hitchins vs Kambosos the plan would be unify with Catterall ideally or if it had to be the mandatory. Think that seems the likely step over Matchroom giving a belt to Azim. Haven’t said anything on his talent. He’s a good fighter. But a numpty for targeting Hitchins when he’s not in any governing bodies top15

I watched Yordan get beat by a shot to bits Anthony Crolla on the Usyk v Bellew undercard about 7 years ago.

 

lol. Kambosos tickover then plan is hitchins in summer if the Teo fight doesn’t materialise.

 

There is still a good 3-5 poor opponents in boxrecs top 20 for azim to fight yet before he steps up against the likes of smith and Hitchins.
I’m not sold on azim, fast hands and has bags of talent but he looks there to be countered big time

 

I'm not sure, but I've a vague memory of those cards being particularly kind to Crolla, maybe on the basis the crowd hadn't come out to watch the hometown hero losing his last fight?

Not saying Yordan is anything but a tick over, just unsure if the loss to a shot Crolla should be held against him?

 

It wasn't Crolla's last fight, IFL have it wrong. His last fight was against Frank Urquiaga in 2019. He fought Yordan on the undercard of Usyk v Bellew in 2018.

 

Turki dropped him as they refused all the fights offered. Dalton Smith, Pierce O'leary and Sean McComb were the fighters offered in that order, you can only conclude that they are terrified of Dalton Smith.
