We only saw 5 rounds tonight but Azim is starting to settle down and taking his time to break down these European level guys, in his early fights at domestic level he was going for these guys from the 1st bell. Now working off his jab taking no unnecessary risks and not getting hit much ... Azim is smarter than he looks, he is a natural back foot fighter / counter puncher and uses his feet well to back off when opponents advance and has good reflexes too to avoid and slip punches he has a good defence mechanism which put him in good stead when he moves into world level where it will be a technical affair with the likes of Devin Haney ect.. It will be hard to hit Azim for most fighters .. and the more they come onto Azim the more it will play into his hands .. All of this at the age of 21 ..
He's the best British talent by far, but is he good enough to take on the American talents? We'll see
Azim is really talented in addition to his super high potential. He also has a very good trainer in McGuigan. He is only 21, so he does have time to build his way up and can have more learning fights against the likes of Ritson or Foley.
He has a good trainer in Shane McGuigan. He does keep he hands low though and tends to follow his opponents around too much which would lead him into a counter shot
