Taylor's never implied the reason for the split was because of anything dodgy financially with the McGuigan's. It's more likely that his eyes lit up when he got offered the MTK deal of zero management fees and a signing-on-fee.

Taylor was matched impeccably and they got him to world titles quickly, headlining on Sky, PPV's, WBSS etc.

Good for Taylor; he's the one putting his life on the line.

Plus, he went on the record, saying their were various breaches of contract by the Mcguigans.

Moreso, given how the last four years have played out, he might have had no choice but to take the Azim fight had the Mcguigan's been taking their % of the gross and XYZ on top of that.

I get what your saying pal and get it. But for me talking of world titles and mentioning smith after his victory is embarrassing when u turned the fight down 3 times and never really being in a 50.50.fight. its not like smith is elite and top of the division his climbing the rankings.

I understand what you are saying, it doesn't look great when you vacated your title vs Dalton, the real truth is that only the real fans will be b othered but the casuals won't even remember it happened....

I mean it must have been a year ago he vacated? So maybe they feel that he has improved enough in the past 12 months or so to finally take on Dalton and/or others. I honestly think the Dalton Smith fight will happen at some point and I am still undecided which way I think it will go.

I have briefly removed you from ignore, as the mods seemed to have taken action to cull the trolling population in order to maintain the ecological balance of the forum.

For reasons obvious to everyone except yourself you quite rightly were on top of that list.

Whilst serving your latest ban, I have some reading for you, although I first recommend a visit to Specsavers as you seem to have some glaring blind spots.

Jack Newfield - The Life of Crimes of Don King.
Jerry Sussman - Boxing and the Mob.

Reading those will not only help you pass the time, as you seem perpetually bored, but you will learn something in the process and hopefully return to the board as a reformed and rehabilitated character.

If not and thus you prefer to continually remain a slave to both your own ignorance and low-grade narcissism, I highly recommend just sending me a DM under your next incarnation.

    Thoughts and Prayers.

i would enjoy seeing this. Generational battles are normally quite compelling although they tend to mostly go one way. Taylor always gives it his all and something tells me he wouldn't be so mouthy in the lead up to this one coming of all the losses and the fact that Azim doesn't seem like the type to get under his skin. Depending on how desparate Taylor is/were to be for money, it could be the end of him.
