I thought it was already common knowledge that Haye walked away from negotiations early this year?

Either way, Haye needs at least 1 or 2 more clear wins over ranked contenders to even deserve a shot.

That's bollocks. Look who Vitali is fighting, Manuel ****ing Charr, before that Chisora. How is Haye not deserving of a shot when Vitali is fighting far, far inferior fighters? You're talking complete and utter rubbish. And I ****ing hate Haye.

    So he ****ing did!
They were on Ringside the other night with Boente and it was cleared up(pretty much)
Boente says a Haye-Wlad rematch is more likely(although fairly pointless IMO)
And since when did wins over ranked contenders make a difference when it comes to fighting the brothers?

Well Booth did clearly say just that live on air during the Chisora vs Haye show so you're right.

haye and booth both said they had a contract offer to fight vitali but it wasnt what they wanted so they took on chisora.haye also claimed he isnt ready to fight vitali in 2012 so even if vitali scrubbed the charr fight haye still wouldnt be fighting him untill 2013 like he said...so its all going down to vitalis politics and if he gets elected..if not, vitali vs haye should happen in 2013 assuming haye isnt difficult to deal with in negotiations..

Nobody knows what happened for sure. I do remember hearing talks of negotiations between Haye, and Vitali. But we can't say who was right, or wrong because we simply don't know what happened in those negotiations.

If Vitali did offer Haye his shot, and Haye turned it down because he felt like the terms weren't favorable, then I'd say he does have himself to blame more because he knew Vitali was pursuing politics, and was close to retirement, and since he is coming off the humiliating, one-sided loss to Wladimir has no power to negotiate, or bargain.

How is it not necessary for Haye to have at least 1 or 2 more wins before getting a shot?

He's just come back after 12 months absence and beat a nobody, who cares?

Prior to that he had 2 fights in 2 years and got his ass handed to him by Wlad. So now he all of a sudden deserves a shot?

    Get real.
