the Gonzalez one was a good KO as well, his pretty accurate :think if he manages to catch Froch enough times whos head is easy to hit then you never know... But i think Froch will slow him down before then
Cant see it personally, he has all the tricks Booth, but not something like this. Groves has obviously been doing something different he looks like a 160 lb'er If he is quicker and crisper than he has been previously I think he beats Froch
Can anyone here fill me in on his trainer Fitzpatrick. I don't much about him.. Is he highly thought of as a trainer? George seems really confident he's going to do the business.
Never heard of him until the emergence of the Groves / Booth split, but no surprise there, I've been away from contact sports for well over 18 months and won't be going back anytime soon Andy Lee gave a reasonable insight which would suggest two things a) he himself has worked with him (possibly at Kronk) and or b) Booth and Paddy Fitz have worked together in the past (past being, the recent past) Hence, Groves's selection
Did anyone notice Booth walking behind Froch when he was being interviewed after the weigh in this afternoon?
I'm suprised nobody has mentioned how easily Groves gets cut and how he marks up, it could be a factor.
Seems all a bit bizarre to me mate. I think Booth will be his corner. Groves seems really confident. I think there up to tricks. We all know Booth loves this sort of stuff.
The late and great Emanuel steward could come back and be Grove's trainer on Saturday, but it wouldn't help groves. Boxing is about levels and Froch is at a different level to Groves. His fragile chin will be his biggest downfall i'm afraid. it will be an achievement for Groves if he sees the start of the 6th round.
For Hollywood purposes this would be a great one to pull off. Mickey raises from the grave to step in for Rocky in a comeback fight at 60, but I'm not sure it translates to real life. All things considered I don't think Booth would want the limelight at a time like this, he's a crafty, weird, innovative little man (among many other tangible things) but he's not a fame junky. This would be more of a "look at me" statement, than a mind game. Froch and McCracken couldn't give two flying ****s who is in George's corner, and with that in mind it kind of becomes irrelevant. Its obvious George has been doing different things in training, look at the shape of him, he looks phenomenal.

Paddy runs a gym in Swindon and has worked on numerous Haye and Groves camps with Booth in the past. Think Paddy has worked at the wildcard in the past and trained Brewster for one of the Wlad fights It was a logical step for Groves after leaving Booth given their history
