He'll fight Wlad eventually, but I've always said it wouldn't be for at least two or three fights yet.

Look at it like this: If he fights Wlad now, he has to take the smaller share of the purse and, if he loses, a good degree of his hype (and earning potential) is gone. If he fights two or three more times, he builds a bigger profile, has some solid paydays, and will get a higher proportion of the take from a Klit fight than he would at present.

It's a bit of a ***** move after calling out the Klits so strongly, but it's also a bit of ***** move on Wlad's part to try and force him out now after just a handful of heavyweight fights. Wlad knows that if Haye turns into a ratings hit, his profitability on this fight will go down, so he's trying to force the fight on the terms most favorable to himself, and Haye's not biting.

It's not all one way by any means.

Haye averaged 11 punches a round against Valuev, and maybe 20 a round versus Ruiz. He is not remotely as active as the Klitschkos, with Vitali averaging as high as 80 punches a round versus Arreola.

wrong. I talked to wlad... he is fine with 50-50. Wlad wants Haye and Wlad wants the belt period. you are reading WAY to much into it

HBO wants david to fight the winner of Adamek - Arreola. HBO doesn't even want the robots anymore. They will be big in Germany or the Ukraine, but those 2 boring dudes can stay off my airwaves. Even Haye - Peter is an exciting fight. haye doesn't need those saftey first heavyweights.

    80 arm punches
20 hayemakers that break noses, bust eardrums and produce knockdowns.

Fair enough, but with the greatest respect you're not exactly what could be called an impartial source.

I'll wait and see what else comes out before jumping to conclusions. ;)

50-50 on the purse or 50-50 on the whole deal, PPV's et al included? It's all well and good saying 50-50, but if that's only on the purse and there are going to be stipulations where Wlad gets the overwhelming majority of PPV's, gate-receipts aswell as home-town advantage etc, then things are going to get complicated.

If he straight up offers Haye 50-50 as a whole and Haye turns it down, I will personally give Haye **** for ducking. As it is, I'm not calling out either guy on doing anything because they are both taking well earned rest I'm sure.

Wrong. Sorry, but there is absolutely no chance that Haye will become a star in boxing without one or both of the Klitschkos? Really, there's a reason why HBO has passed on his last two fight. Do you honestly think they'll be foaming at the mouth to pick up Valuev part Deux or a showdown with Kali Meehan or Chagaev? The only possible way that Haye gets on HBO and move increases his appeal is by fighting the winner of Adamek vs. Arreola...which I doubt he will do.

He can be whatever you want him to be. In America HBO is our main source of quailty boxing. I've seen them waste to much of their budget on boring matches involving the Klit bros, and I'm tired of it.
