yeah especially if haye and valuev are afraid of taking a fight:rofl
    who was there for vitali???
chambers, arreola, thompson, peter, chagaev all beaten
povetkin in line for wlad, solis unproven(would be the same thing like the fight with kevin johnson( even if solis is way better, unproven))
    adamek was busy himself.
so vitali took a fight with some one who was a little bit proven and who had the balls to take a fight:deal

If the challenger is ranked and eligible for a shot at the title and there is no one better blatently calling the champ out, I don't see the problem. Vitali fighting Sosnowski is nowhere near as bad as a proposed fight between Haye and Harrison.

Maybe Haye has a list of opponents he could face next (who are prioritized) and has opened negotiations with all of them to get a deal done sooner:

    1. Vitali Klitschko
    2. Wladimir Klitschko
    3. Nikolai Valuev
    4. Ruslan Chagaev
    5. Alexander Povetkin
    6. Audley Harrison

Booth said before that the WBC was the belt that they wanted, so now as VK is keen on the fight and has nothing lined up as of yet, negotiations can get serious

WK wants this fight so bad he has called out Haye, and to me, Haye sounds like a smart man. If after all the talk he has done, he doesn't fight either V or W, his reputation will be destroyed both now and long after he retires.

We know that there was a rematch clause in his contract in the 1st fight with Valuev, and David V Goliath II could sell alot with the casuals here in England

Chagaev is his mandatory, and is a good heavyweight for him to fight

Povetkin would be a good fight to see how far he has come as a heavyweight, beating a real contender would be great for his die hard boxing fans

Harrison is there because an All-English title fight would sell massive in England, particularly since Harrison won Prizefighter:)patsch) and the Euro title, both with good viewing numbers, but Harrison runs his mouth off like he is the number one choice

And as Haye's Mrs was having a baby I'm not supprised he hasen't jumped straight back into a fight yet... all the crying and nappy changing will change his mind though

Sosnowski only got his shot because he was Euro champion, the same as Harrison. H2H Audley beats Albert every day of the week, and Harrison is ****

    Proof? No? Didnt think so.

If Vitali made an offer to Solis, why was Solis calling Vitali out not too long ago?

If Haye hadn't talked so much about wanting to fight a Klitschko and if Wladimir wasn't now calling out Haye it would be a non issue, the only problem most people have is Haye fighting Harrison instead of Wlad. Haye V Harrison would be an acceptable fight if Haye hadn't talked so much about wanting to save the hw division.

Be kinda funny if Audley ditched his title, the biggest one he's won to date, and his dance card didn't get filled.

I didn't like that matchup. But here are 3 obvious discepances that anyone with an IQ over 80 would have picked up on.

    1. Vitali is an old man and his skills are clearly declining. Haye, on the other hand, is a young 29 and he new to the heavyweight game. Therefore, he should be taking fights that help him improve. Audley can't do that for him.

    2. Vitali actually tried to make a legit fight with Valueve, Haye has not entered into serious negotiations with either Klitschko.

    3. Vitali is far more active than Haye. He had four fights in 15 months. Haye fights once every 6 or 7 months. So, if Vitali wants to take a stay busy fight, as I said I don't like it, but he is far more entitled to do so than Haye. Wasting 8 months of his prime on Audley Harrison is just sad. :D

sky sports, haye's paymaster, want it. not necessarily haye.

reckon audley should fight sosnowski for the EBU title. great fight, that. i think audley dumped the EBU title knowing he'd be put in as the #1 contender.

well the first has already happened, and going by both's comments the 2nd doesn't look too likely.

sky just want any excuse to cash audley's name in.

Don't be silly. They'll just say they couldn't make the Wlad fight so this was the next big fan.

Man, Haye fans clutching at straws or what? :S

That's true. Vlitali made an offer to Valuev. I'm not sure he wants Solis. He's a more dangerous fighter than most people know.
