Yes that's true he had chances before. But, at the same time if the Klits offered better contracts then the fight might have happened, as Haye was offered better terms to fight Valuev for the WBA and set up a 50:50 unification fight with Wlad. Simple business decision really.

Fight for a WBA belt, for 1 million pounds more and set up a huge fight with the better brother and HW champ.

    Just a fact.

No. Turning down the first fight was Haye's choice.

Then Vitali started calling him out for a year, told him to fight Chisora first and then disappeared.

I don't actually dislike them. Actually, Vitali comes across as a nob but WLad seems decent. However, I do dislike their ******ed fans who have no idea about the sport and spout stuff like the guff you have written above just because it's what the K2 PR team and CHEF have told them.

Firstly, if he retires then it's fine, that's his choice, although he had just spent a year and a half calling Haye out so it's a bit weird.

However, if he fights on against a different opponent then it's not going to look good for him.

The sad part is, is that Haye would be in Vitali's top 3 wins and would be a solid contender for the top spot

if Haye has to resort to posting videos on YT, calling Vitali out, what does that say? :think

plain and simple, if both camps wanted to, this fight would of been made LONG ago, but as it has happened many times in boxing, for whatever reasons, there is less chance with each passing day that this will ever be made

    :lol::rofl:patsch

Why would they think they would hear something? They have had offers they refused in the past. Haye isn't a Mandatory. Vitali does not have to fight him. Haye is not entitled to anything.

Vitali isn't going to say anything until after the Arreola-Stieverne fight. Why would he say anything before then?

    im english dumbass
how is that rewriting the way boxing works, Haye got a Wladimir fight by talking his way into it, now hes trying to do the same thing again
Haye is a **** he talked so much **** then froze up, he'd probably beat Vitali because hes old as **** but Haye doesnt deserve it, he needs to fight some top 10 fighters first

    a blatant duck.

All the sh!t lewis got for saying "yeah ok" and "if the money is right" in the ring post fight is nothing compared to a year of calling out followed by a duck

Haye had a chance to fight Vitali before but wanted none of it, now that he sees Vitali "slowing down" he's back to talking smack like his joke of a fight with Wladimir never happened.

haye has also said he wanted a rematch with Wlad.

As it was Wlads biggest payday he should take it

Even that poll in Ukraine showed Haye was the fight they wanted

Haye Vs. Vitali would not even be on PPV in the USA. Maybe HBO perhaps. Haye should have tried to get a rematch with Wlad next month. Insted we get to watch Wlad beat up on a nobody.

No, but in the UK it would do big PPV numbers. If Haye was able to beat Vitali he would give Wlad the chance to win the WBC belt from him and become undisputed...... To bad they havn't the guts to take any risks.

What does that have to do with absolutely anything I said? Where did I mention your nationality?

And this is why I said you're rewriting the rules of boxing . . .

Haye was the unified CW champion. He stepped up to HW and picked up a title to set up a unification fight.

So you're telling me a former World Champ and HW titlist didn't deserve a shot at the Champion to unify the belts? Is that what you're saying.

If Haye didn't deserve that shot and only talked himself in to it, please tell me what Wach, Mormeck and Pianeta did to make themselves more deservin?

Do you always complain when the champion in one division steps up and fights the champion of the division above? I mean that's a pretty common occurrence in boxing. Perhaps you haven't been following the sport that long . . .

    :rofl

    Classic.

AGAIN, this is why I said you're rewriting the rules of boxing.

Please show me where this precedent comes from that says if you lose to the dominant champion of the division then you can't fight the division's number two? As far as I'm aware, this has never been the case and it's only in the last couple of months that I've seen people inventing this rule.

Would you mind linking me to your posts where you was complaining about Carl Froch fighting Lucian Bute after losing a shut out to Andre Ward?

I mean, Froch just lost to the Champion at 168 after promising everyone he was going to knock him out, yet in his next fight he's fighting Bute, the division's 2nd ranked fighter and titlist. I can only imagine that you was outraged by this.

If Vitali retires without collecting on this pay day I'll be scratching my head. The money is on the table, why not take it?

You can't really say that while believing every word that comes out of K2 and CHEF's mouth.

I can't understand why people place much credence in anything ANY boxing promoters say.

I find Haye's team to be no less or more trustworthy than K2.

Getting ran out of the sport by a former cruiserweight does not look great, no matter how old Vitali may be.
