HBO isn't putting Haye back on again. They were pissed as hell after his 'performance' in the Wlad fight.

It will be Epix at best in the States.

    Bottom line is this.

David Haye has had (as far as we know) two CLEAR chances to fight Vitali. He either pulled out, opted to 'go after' Wlad or chose the Chisora option because it offered him more money.

Vitali, sadly, is no longer in his prime. Haye from 2008-2011 continually singled out Wlad as the one he wanted to fight, citing his 'weak chin', 'robotic, slow style' and cos he 'had all the belts' as the reasons for his pursuit.

He did say he would like to fight Vitali, but he reiterated on numerous occasions that he had 'no beef' with Vitali. I, including many others, feel Haye was intimidated by Vitali in these years.

Haye finally agrees to a Wlad fight. He guarantees an EARLY and BRUTAL knock out. He performs woefully and makes a lot of money in the process. He may have had a broken toe, but I have never accepted this excuse, as his footwork and general movement in that fight was exceptional. He simply fought scared. Wlad did too, but not as scared as Haye.

So Haye says after the fight that he would 'love' a rematch with Wlad, but doesn't think it will happen. Haye officially retires on 13th October, 2011.

Yes, Vitali does say he wants to KO Haye numerous times after the Wlad fight. Haye remains quiet during this period but it is said that negotiations are taking place for him to fight Vitali.

Feb 2012 - Haye is at the Vitali-Chisora fight. Both Haye and Booth predict prior to the fight that Vitali will win by a comfortable KO. Instead, Vitali, although I thought still performed well, looked slightly older in this fight. Kudos to Chisora for eating numerous hard shots and constantly putting pressure on Vitali.

Afterwards, Haye starts shouting at Vitali in the press conference "why do you not fight me now?" Vitali looks both confused and amused at Haye. Boente interjects clearly annoyed at Haye. I do agree that Boente seems to be a negative influence on Vitali. He has said that the Haye-Vitali fight will never happen, then he would say it could happen.

The Chisora brawl occurs. Frank ****** says at the Munich press conference 'David fights Dereck and the winner fights Vitali.' Boente responds with something like "sounds like a plan." Vitali himself never agreed to that. A few months go past, and K2 claim they offer Haye the contract to fight Vitali in September, in Moscow.

Haye gets wind that he has been offered a lot of money to fight Chisora. He chooses to fight Chisora and wants K2 to basically wait. K2 reject this, and understandably so. It wouldn't look good if Haye lost or got injured, and so they would be out an opponent for September.

I do agree that it is strange that Vitali has been quiet for maybe a little too long. There are rumours that he has had knee surgery which at nearly 42, doesn't bode well for a Haye fight. He must seriously be considering retiring.

I do want to see Vitali vs Haye. But I don't agree with people stating that Vitali is 'ducking' him, when he HAS offered him a contract twice before.

Haye wants money in my opinion, plain and simple. Not a title. I have said this before - if Haye was offered £1m to fight Vitali but somehow Audley Harrison offered him £10m for a rematch - Haye would pick Audley.

I would only want Vitali to fight him if Vitali was properly motivated and healthy. If he isn't, there's a good chance he might lose.

Vitali is doing to Haye what Lennox did to him. Waiting 12 months before officially retiring.

Haye got his fight with Wladimir by talking **** remember it was signed in like 2009 and he kept pulling out, then he got his big shot he threw like 5 punches got schooled 120-108 and then retired and is now talking about coming back
the fact he has to make a new video every month shows you how desperate he is for money
its not about doesnt deserve to fight number 2 because he lost to number one, its he didnt throw a punch against number one after talking **** for years, he doesnt deserve a payday which is why they probably arent making the fight, they know he might do the same thing and stink out the whole place again
the fact your backing him makes you delusional because most people hate the guy, you probably thought him vs Wladimir was close

It's not on anyone's agenda. David Haye is sounding like a boring stuck record. He fought Wlad and disgraced himself. Why would anyone want to see him again? Why would he even deserve it?

Who the **** gives a ****? Just **** of David Haye and retire for ****s sake.

Nobody cares about David Toemaker Haye! If Vitali retires it is damn right to do so! He will get 42 this year!
But It would be strange if he would fight a crap opponent instead a good one.

I seem to remember that Haye/Chisora drew a pretty big crowd and TV audience so I assume there's still a significant market for Haye in boxing.
