Thanks for the video. He comes across well, first time Ive heard about what happened on Booths arrival to the ring. I cant help but think that him and Haye are too close now.

Just a shame he had no plan B inside the ring on Saturday. Everytime Haye feinted to move forward Wlad back up with his arms up in the arm to block incoming shots and wasn't positioned to throw back... why didn't he see this and get Haye to back him up? Wlad was obviously wary of Haye's power and only backs up in straight lines.

They needed to gamble, back him up with feints and get inside, he can only back up as far as the ropes. Pathetic attempt from Haye, Wlad looked there for the taking, they just went in with a terrible plan.

I think from what i've heard, Booth was asking Haye to do something different, but Haye didn't respond, Booth went as far to say, something along the lines of "it's the first time he's not done as i've told him"

Coming in, David had up to a 20% chance of winning the fight, which had to be by stoppage. But, they did not order their priorities in a way that would have given David a real opportunity at his biggest chance.

Their priorities were [1] not get stopped [2] win the fight and not [1] win the fight [2] anything else. So choosing the priorities, David reduced his chance of winning to near nil.

David's problem, and the fight proved this out, was that he had to take all the risks to win, while WK had to assume very little risk. And David chose not to assume the risk. WK let him and we have the result.

gd interview from booth..but again i see the little smirk and the eyes telling a story of there own when the toes mentiond..he also dosnt seem very intrested in haye fighting on..i think haye thought he was going to go out swinging at least and he didnt manage to and that prob hurt his rep a little bit.esp if hes indeed looking to get involved into the movie scene

So was Booth in over his head? From the outside it seemed they were putting everything into the psychological aspect of getting in Wlad's head. Trying to force Wlad off his game with hopes that he would come in recklessly so Haye could tag him.

Personally, my opinion—and I don't claim to know what it would be, but if Steward was in Haye's camp, he should have been able to come up with something.

Decent interview from booth. Doesnt surprise me that he told haye to do something and he didnt listen. Just the way haye comes across to me. As for booth tho seems like a decent person and coach, would love to know what his fight plan actually was.

Steward is big on improving a fighter's balance. He really helped Wladimir's in that regard.

The thing is—does Haye really need his balance improved? To me his footwork seems excellent. It's just when he lunges in with his hayemakers that he stumbles and looks off balance. Correct me if I am wrong, but tying the ankles together wouldn't help with that problem. It seems more to do with the wild hayemaker punch than a balance issue.
