Why will Haye not box in a footballstadion? I think Haye believe his name is soooooooo big in the UK.

Haye is a cheater. He knows he cannot sells out stadions without a Klitschko and a PPV in the UK will much bigger with Wlad than with any other boxer.

So 50:50 is more than fair.

1m is a lot regardless of station. At least it shows there was added interest because of Haye. That added interest actually matters over there because it would be free TV. Your general point is right but it means that Wlad adds nothing to the Sky PPV ratings, whereas we know that Haye can add many fans over there.

There's still a purse to be decided on. It has to be split up, which was agreed to be 50/50.

there both a bunch of ****s for not accepting the fight. either offer is reasonable.

some of you guys can go on about being the ring champion but the sad truth is that belt is meaningless.

Haye vs Adameck will be a good fight. US tv will show it. It will be very exciting and if Haye wins there Haye goes into the new negotiations in a better position. you may even see that fight in the US.

The sticking point is that if you have a 50/50 deal, everything should be split 50/50. Haye doesn't want that. He wants to keep the UK rights and he wants Wad to keep the German TV right. Since Wlad's tv deal is fixed he will receive no bump in salary due to the increased viewership that Haye and unification will encourage. Since Haye's deal is not fixed, he will benefit from the increased viewership that Wlad and unification bring. It's an uneven deal. One fighter benefits the other does not.

It's really quite simple. Haye wanted a deal where he will be paid more than Wlad, which is patently ridiculous. Wlad wants a deal where they would split everything down the middle, which is more than genorous, it's goddamn magnanimous.

If Haye wants 100% of UK money, then why not to consider other countries basing on their popularity and split the money up to it? Lets see the purse and splits then. Klits are known everywhere, and Haye? How someone who fights once a year can be popular anywhere? I just cant understand how rejecting 50-50 offer may be justified.

Btw, 50-50 of the pot and 100% to Haye from UK with same with Ger to Klit, IS NO MORE 50-50... How any sane person may say Haye should earn more than Klits? Such an absurd.

:good Basically, Haye, who has been trading off the Klitschko name for the last 2 years, now wants more than 50-50 as the challenger! Contracts, offers, negotiations and all that aside, this is what it comes down to. Can anyone please explain to me why he should make more than Kiltschko for this fight?

All signs point to Haye not wanting this fight, even his stalker RobPalmer stated yesterday that money was not the issue and that they were other issues Haye wasn't happy with. This tells me that if Klitschko agreed to Haye keeping all Sky money there would still be more obstacles thrown in the way.

Exactly. Haye is asking for the "go away" price because he doesn't want the fight yet. He'd rather pad his bank account with some meaningless fights & then cash out against a Klitschko.

Do you not understand that Haye and his team are negotiating in bad faith. They know that Wlad has a fixed deal and that he received 3 million each fight in Germany. Compare that with the 5 pounds that Haye received for each pay per view buy. The record for pay per view in the UK is the Hatton vs. Mayweather fight that had 1 million buys. THis would rival that. That means that Haye would receive 5 million pounds, or more than twice at much in TV revenue than Wlad would under his deal. Now, most of that increase would be due to the fact that he is fighting Wlad for unification, but Wlad would receive a farthing. Is that fair? Hmmm?

Where did you go to school? Wlad and unification add nothing to PPV ratings in the UK? :patsch
