“David is still saying, ‘Why the hell should I be fighting Audley when he’s not ranked in the top ten?’

“I’m not saying Audley is not a possibility. Nothing has been done yet and we are not moving ahead.''

“I’ve spoken to Eddie Hearn a couple of times and I’ve also had offers from Bernard Hopkins and Shannon Briggs.'

“Tomasz Adamek, with all the tickets he would sell to Poles living in Britain, is another possibility.''

“But nothing is going to be decided for four or five weeks.''

“I’ve not heard from the Klitschkos in weeks.''

“There is talk Vitali will fight Shannon Briggs next, we will see.”

that's twice now that k2 have said they have heard nothing off boxers (haye and valuev) then we hear counter claims by the opposition boxers team.

makes me wonder, has solis really been silent, or does vitali not want the fight?

What should he "heard" from the Klitschkos?

Haye refuses to fight Wlad with a split of 50:50 with no options.

    Game over.

Haye is Wlad´s opponent, it is personal.

what about valuev and solis. too many stories about k2 going silent and dictating terms. in the case of haye now that everything is out in the open both made offers and couldnt agree, fair play.

but valuev and solis have both stated they want the fight, yet k2 say they dont :huh

If Haye wants to save what little face he's got left after this PR debacle, facing Adamek's the only logical choice. I'm glad his name's getting brought up.

Briggs? Eh. Hopkins? He'd get killed at this point. Valuev? SNV's so good, he'll just take a vacation instead.

If it's not a Klitschko, Adamek makes the most sense.

Edit: Completely forgot about Chagaev. That'd be an acceptable fight, too.

4-5 more weeks before an opponent is selected, are you kidding me? And what about Chagaev amidst all this?

    Haye is a joke and a *****.

i wanna see him vs either harrison, adamek, chagaev or solis.

providing that vitali still wont negotiate with him, cos that is the #1 choice

What a joke...acting like if you actually showed any interest in vitali other than running your mouth when he or you are fighting someone else the fight wouldn't be signed by now

Why does he not simply say "WE WILL NEVER FIGHT AUDLEY. GET IT? NEVER!". Why does he keep leaving the door open?

I think they are waiting to see if Toney wins his UFC fight. If he does then I think he will be his next opponent. Would be good money to be made off the back of the boxer who put UFC in it's place.

Personally I don't think Toney will win but that could be what they are waiting on.

I told you months ago that Hopkins was on Haye's list so it it nothing new for me.

the list is still like this:
    Harrison
    Valuev
    Hopkins
    Meehan

Chagaev wouldn't get a licence to box in Britain.

Unless Haye goes to Germany, which is unlikely for anything other than Klitschko..... this fight will never happen.
