Haye fought Ruiz in the Spring time of this year so how the hell is Chagaev going to go back in time and get a shot?

 

It's the WBA we're dealing with here. At this point, nothing surprises me with them.

 

The best is how Booth and Haye are always playing down Harrison as an opponent, but they are NOT categorically saying no to fighting him. "We're not thrilled" "If by some miracle I end up in the same ring with him" "He hasn't fougth anyone in the top 20".

What's so hard about saying "We won't fight Audley no matter what"????

Why would Meehan be on Haye's list, when he is close to retirement and Chagaev beat him?

They licensed him in his WBA eliminator fight vs Meehan so I can't see them turning around and trying to scrap his manditory status. Then again nothing that the WBA King/Haye/Booth *** squad does would shock me.

 

his last fight was in Germany, its down the countries boxing commission to decide if he gets a licence or not.

he was meant rematch Valuev in Finland (I think it was Finland anyway) and they refused him a licence because of the Hepatitis.

Not entirely true HMS. Finland was going to license him, on the condition that Valuev and his team were vaccinated prior to the fight, which Valuev declined.
