A sticking point in the negotiations, in fact possibly the last one, has been Haye's camp asking for the German TV rights to go to the biggest buyer. Obviously the response is that the Klitschko's are with RTL, but Sauerland are with ARD, right? Is it possible that it's written in the Sauerland contract that they get a chance to bid for any Sauerland fight?

If so, maybe this is why Boente wants to wait for Sauerland's options on Haye to end.

Jack the entire Sauerland/ARD issue is the same reason why a Valuev/Wlad fight never happened in 2007. There were long talks back and forth and at the end of the day Sauerland instisted it must be broadcast on ARD while the Klitschkos pounded the table that they have a contract with RTL.

Same with Haye now. All this is very very frustrating for us boxing fans.

There is 0.00% chance the fight will ever happen for as long as Sauerland is involved. Haye and Booth should stop pointing fingers at the Klits. Just my 2 cents.

Booth said all 3 have been tied up since the Valuev fight, but that is a total lie. When Wlad made his video calling Haye out, Haye chose to fight Harrison instead- as an optional defence. Let's not forget how Haye simply went missing for a few months at the time. We didn't hear a peep from him in the 2 or 3 months after the Ruiz fight, all the while Wlad was talking to the media

Yes, at that point Wlad even got an exception from the IBF in order to unify with Haye. But Haye wasn't interested. And he won't be for as long as Sauerland have their greedy hands in his pockets.

Haye was whining so much about slave contracts, why did he sign this terribly slavery contract with Sauerland?

Then I can see why Haye wants it to be a bidding war between RTL and ARD - In fact, they probably have no choice.

Honestly, I know why some fans are possed off at Haye, but I think the issue is bigger than him. This bull**** with Sauerland, RTL and ARD, is having a negative effect on these negotiations. Possibly fatally negative.

Wlad had had 35 fights by the time he won the WBO tilte in 2000, at that time Holyfield, Ruiz and Rahman would have been good fights, but Wlad was happy making routine defences against relative nobodies. But then along came Corrie Sanders:D.

Which is Haye's fault for signing a slave contract with Sauerland. So there we have it, Haye's bull**** about the Klitschkos slave contracts has been well and truely exposed. He effectively put a stop to a possible Klitschko fight when he bought the WBA title off Sauerland and King. Everything else he and Booth have been saying since about slave contracts, tv money, etc etc, has all been smoke and mirrors.

There's a difference between a three fight deal fighting both Klitschko's, and three separate fights, including mandatories and voluntary defences. Plus the Klitschko fight could still happen, whilst he's with Sauerland. It's just obviously more confusing because of the TV deals in place.

The bottom line is: The Klitschkos won't accept anything less than 50/50 from the British PPV.

If Haye doesn't agree to this the fight never gets made.

    It's as simple as that.

I've just watched the Booth/Boente discussion.

Booth was made to look a fool.

Bernd wants a clean, and thorough 50/50 split of EVERYthing........ Booth clearly don't want to risk any sort of deal, no matter if it is an even split..................Booth also says that Haye wants Wlad cause he called Haye a *****........

But I think Booth merely is avoiding whomever is now available, cause he knows either would pummel Haye, so he's putting it off however he can.

Booth is supposedly like dealing with a child, from the sound of those who have dealt with him. How this immature, unreasonable guy got this kind of big money/responsibility position is beyond me.
