I was watching it on Sky Sports. Booth was being interviewed about the Harrison fight and they had Boente on the show too, from Germany.

I don't understand why he didn't say "yes" to public negotiations. I think Booth asked three times, yet he didn't answer. Why not?

All in the open is the right way to go, you have to question why Boente won't do it. If they are truely offering 50-50 no options, surely they would do it out in the open so Haye has no where to go?

Well, yesterday Vitali was interviewed by CNN, and this is what he said.

""I want to make an open play so the audience know about our negotiations. No rematch, no options, 50-50 income, it's clear rules. I promise everybody David Haye will find some excuse.""

Can you understand why Booth referenced fighting Wlad before VK? I can, he knows VK will lay him out so he dont get that shot at Wlad.

Also, why was Booth bringing up the mandatory's as potential hurdles, where as Boente dismissed them out of hand?

    Exactly.

The story from Haye's side is that when they agreed to the Vitali fight, the things they agreed upon were different to what was in the contract. Making the negotiations public is obviously going to stop anything like this happening.

Just when did a rematch clause become unfair????

Booth said Haye wants Wlad first as it's personal. Fair enough, I suppose. Using that logic, you could say that Wlad wanted the fight instead of his brother, because he knows Vitali will get slaughtered.

Booth rightly said that the sanctioning body make stop a unification. In most cases, the sanctioning body will postpone a mandatory in favour of a unification, but this isn't always the case. Booth later said he thinks the sanctioning bodies would allow them to postpone.

Didn't Booth say after Harrison fight that it's 99.99% sure that the fight will happen in 2011? Pretty big u-turn from him.

He must have writers from 'Spooks' to come up with these excuses.

I read that which makes me wonder why Boente didn't just say "Yes, let's make the negotiations public".

when the rematch was to fight the other family member straight away!.lol.

and hahahah, people make me laugh, klitchkos were on ppv in the uk,ye,and i bet all of about 2 people bought and managed to watch all the way through!.

obv haye doesnt own sky,lol what has that got to do with possibility of haye gettin out of sky contract to go into a type of contract that the klitsckos are in where he gets the same less amount they have now, therefore everything can be equal.

clearly what klitschkos are boente say and what they do are completely different things, especially away from the public eye!.

Why would you apply that logic? Wlad has a glass chin, VK is also the better fighter as far as im concerned, I think Booth knows that, as do you, which is why you will try and pass this off like what you are doing now.

Booth brought it up cause he doesn't want to back himself into a corner, cause he is not categorically interested in Haye facing a Klit next time out.
