Khomitsky is a fighter who ultimately 'separate's the men from the boys' so to speak. We'll learn a lot about Etches and where he's going from this fight.
For a novice I'm quite impressed with etches - aside from the obvious power, he does the basics very well - be interesting this one. Fair to say there's a good few fights to be made for Adam if he comes through
I wudnt call him a novice his around 18-0 tho untested we sud learn alot about him this fight. Lots of good fights at domestic level for him after this.
I've been to a few of his fights and seen him get tagged too often by journeymen. He can't afford to make the same mistakes I've seen him make before. Although he seems to improve when he steps up in class. Tempted to have a tenner on Khomitsky though.
Wen has he really stepped up. His only boxed journeymen then moved on to imports who from wat ive seen wudnt beat some of the journeymen his already beat. Fair play for him taking this fight its his first test
Fan of what ive seen from Etches already. Big step up this and usually Khomitsky is a good signal of where a fighter is at. One thing guaranteed with Etches is entertainment.
That Abramenka who he stopped in 4 seemed a step up at the time and that Barbosa bloke is better opposition than the journeymen he previously faced. I do agree though he hasn't fought anyone of note.
This should be an exciting fight. Etches brings it and Khomitsky really separates contenders from pretenders.
No where near the hype the good looking italian boy from London was getting. Adam etches isn't being hyped that much, he's crude but he packs a punch. And more exciting than frank, but less publicity. Fish eyes promotes the wise guy Hatton promotes etches Nothing else needs to be said. I think etches will beat this guy.
Fair enough. From an outside view (as I wouldn't really know how much hype Etches is getting within the UK) I just see the kid having been televised for more than half of his career so far (since at least the Ferenc Zold victory as part of the "main card", if not even earlier on the Red Button) - in a few instances now only 3rd-billed or even co-headlining - and it seems a bit like Buglioni being regularly pushed on TV audiences before he really belonged on TV. :conf
