Massive respect to him for giving it a go, Far cry from the cricketing days but good luck to him as long as he's realistic about expectations and fights he be ok. Seen far worse in professional ring then him so fair play.
Agree mate...he moved alright and knew where the target was. looked like he has been sparring for sometime to be honest. Have seen plenty of athletes change codes to boxing and look terrible with a less than basic boxing skill set. At his age and as a novice if he is matched correctly he should do ok.
Surely to **** after this performance he should be in with a crack at either Klit late this year or early next?
He was interviewed on 5live last night and said he could earn far more on a building site. So I think its not just for the money.
