Adam Kownacki vs. Sugar Robert Helenius

Poland was attacked at the same time by Germany and Russia while being independent for 20 years, after 123 years of partitions. Both armies were significantly bigger than the Polish one and yet Polish people never stopped fighting. They never gave up unlike other european countries.

 

Do you think I don't like Poland? If so you're wrong. Their contribution to the allied war effort cannot be understated with their work on cracking enigma alone saving thousands upon thousands of lives.

I was just saying an element of the Polish military didn't seem to realise the situation they were facing.

 

You made it sound like Poland had terrible 'defense', like it was stated before, while considering circumstances there was nothing they could really do. Except allying with Hitler.
And to be honest I've never heard about this bragging, either way one man's statement does not reflect the whole military stand.

 

The defense whilst spirited was ill thought out and it's well documented that Polish top brass weren't prepared for what ended up happening.

Contrast this with the plans drawn up by the Czech government prior to them having the rug pulled out from them by their allies on the Sudetenland and you have a fairly stark contrast.

Anyway you seem to be taking all of this very personally so I think it's best we leave it here.

 

Dull fight. It'll be Kownacki plodding forward throwing arm punches on Helenius's high guard round after round. Maybe Helenius quits on his stool after exhaustion or a broken nose, or maybe he makes it to the Finnish line in a one-sided shutout.

I hope Helenius causes an upset so there is more chance ofHW unification fight then even if it happens Wilder will just pick another cherry picked opponent.

 

Luis Ortiz is rated #5 by Ring. Kownacki is rated #8 by Ring. Only Wilder can talk about fighting two Ring TOP 8 heavyweights and you guys label them "cherry picks." This "cherry pick" garbage has gotten really tiresome.

 

A fighter that he has already beaten whose only notable wins are Jennings and Hammer. Another fighter that has no defence what so ever and whom went life and death in a close fight with Charles Martin.
