This content is protected Barring his commentary I actually really quite like Adam Smith. Very interesting his attitude on the Whyte vs Fury PPV. Saying they will push the fight, I know Sky will get a clip of the ticket for any PPV sold via their system but it is a very refreshing attitude. He seems to want to do what is right for boxing.
He's alright. He cares about the sport and talk sense in interviews. Just gets stupidly carried away when he's commentating. Goes full Alan Partridge. He's never been loathsome like the likes of Bellew, or as shockingly biased as Nelson etc.
I really like Adam. He might get a bit over excited in his commentary but that just shows how passionate about boxing he is. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he genuinely cares for the sport, not just Sky
I've always liked him. Well-spoken, likeable guy. Is Boxing Social anywhere near IFL TV in terms of boxing YouTube channels/media outlets?
Sky have really really need PPV for their boxing financials to work. They have been left with no PPV fighters on their platform so they are open and adjusting to more PPV fights with anyone that sells. they plan to lower down to 3-4 PPVs over the next 2 years and then ramp back up to 6. They plan to get Eubank in a PPV in the back end of the year. Ideally against BJS or GGG. They have also discussed the winner of Brook vs Khan. The same with Josh Taylor and trying to tie up either a Teo Lopez or Crawford fight. I know that Shalom has offered Whyte good money for PPV after the Fury fight against a comeback guy if he loses. They are interested in Whyte vs Wallin PPV also
yeh i like smith because he doesn't come across as bitter in his interview unlike nearly everyone else in boxing.
I like him outside of his commentary too. Still remember at the Chisora Whyte presser where Del threw the table he showed a slightly different side to himself while Eddie soiled himself, going all high pitched and gibbering.
I had heard of Boxxer / Sky's offer to Dillian Whyte. That's also why I wrote the other day that I believe after the Fury fight (which I do not believe will turn into anything) Dillian Whyte will enter into a cooperation agreement with Boxxer / Sky Sports.
