Adam Smith - The Fight Ruiner

Adam Smith last night was unbearable.He was so over the top like an excited 5 yr old.Spoilt the night for me

 

It was dreadful.

I didn't see the undercard, but was watching pre the ring walks. The chat from the pundits was bad but once the main event was coming on it was left to Adam Smith to stop any kind of atmosphere from the night being transmitted to the viewing public. He couldn't leave the mic silent for more than 5 seconds before chiming in with some witless, repetitive and uninspired blah.

The infight commentary was even worse than I remember it. They seemed to be under orders not to mention the elephant in the room, the weight and rehydration clauses, so they had to fish around for anything else to explain the lack of a decent contest. Just listened to a 5 live package with Ron Mackintosh and Bunce and found myself wishing I'd listened to that instead.

The way that boxing is presenting itself in this country is abhorrent to me. It's a race to the bottom crafted by and for idiots. The commentary and presentation should come with a public health warning because it likely destroys far more brain cells than the alcohol it's likely driving folk to consume to blot it out of their memory.

 

He needs to stop his hoarse shouting.

 

When he came back from his hiatus he was good and I thought, ah I'm glad he's back but he's morphed back into the worst version of himself.

It's a shame as the guy could be a great commentator if he didn't follow the match room narrator as badly as he does, he's a cuck. Shame as the impartial version, would be excellent.

 

The film The Human Centipede was apparently based off events that happened in adam smith’s basement.

 

A cacophony of noise! He’s unbearable, he is just a company stooge like the rest, I don’t pay any attention to anything they say. Bellew is another shameless one, absolutely horrific at the job but will say what he’s told, mainly because he isn’t capable of thinking for himself.

 

When Smith was simpering about the like of Baby Spice, 50 cent and Pierse Brosnan being in attendance, plus him and Darren "company shill" Barker waffling on about a Benn boxing master class - it was all too much. I switched off the commentary about halfway through.

I don't mind Barry Jones too much but Smith and Barker are simply terrible. Intolerable tbh.

 

He is always loud and on the cusp of shouting.

When he first came along I assumed he just had his mic louder than everyone else's, but with the amount of times his voice goes hoarse he is clearly just talking very loud and shouting all the time.

 

The face Smith is pulling in your profile pic looks like he's had his mouth stapled to someone's arsehole.

 

I've said it somewhere else. Not being funny here but he likes a certain type of man, with a certain type of build and a certain type of ethnicity, someone like, oh I don't know, Richard Riakporhe.

 

No offence of course and your opinion is worth the same as mine but he's always been terrible, he's always said the same sh1t and he's always followed the Matchroom narrative, back on Sky and at DAZN. We Got rid of him for 5 minutes then people on here started longing for him, primarily cause he was ill, like a 16 year old girl who's been dumped by her first boyfriend. Anyway he's back now every week ruining every show. What a f@@king disaster !

 

Smith was terrible last night but Darren Barker for me is even worse
