Adam Smith

I actually quite like Adam Smith. Hate his commentary though. My skin crawls when I hear him shriek "LIFT OFF FOR AJ!!!!"

 

Adam Smith is a class act. I was really distraught during Usyk v Bellew when I saw that bomber tattoo on Bellew's back and immediately thought it's some sort of a tribute to terrorism but thankfully Smith right away stated that it has nothing to do with terrorists and it's only a reference to his punching power. Blessed man.

 

Adam Smith has some quirky mannerisms. That's it.

He get's an absolute pasting in the comments section of every video he is in. I feel guilty reading through them - as they do make me chuckle and I feel bad for him! The uploaders know what's coming, I wonder if they consider turning comments off. It's enough to give anyone a complex, he must have such thick skin.

 

Reminds me of Martin Tyler when City scored late to win the league back in 2012.

I can still hear it now. Sickens me.

 

He does have a whiff of lavender about him but is a decent commentator when in one of his rare, non-shilling of a future match-up moments.

Agree. He actually seems a decent guy and is genuinely passionate about boxing . But his slightly odd look is going to be made fun of.

 

Anyone ever hear the darts commentary on sky? Used to like a bit of darts but once Sid died, the rest of the commentary team became unbearable. Talk about shamelessly trying to hype matches/the sport. I had to stop watching it. Shameless!

 

Sid was ok but at times he went over the top to make himself part of the moment. There’s a great clip of him ruining a Phil Taylor nine dart attempt on YouTube because it was back when the crowd was quiet and Phil could hear Sid shouting from the commentary booth.

I can’t stand Wayne Mardle. Chris Mason is alright but he comes across as a ***** on Twitter and by all accounts in real life too.

 

I found Sid funny at times.

If a game is dull in any way, those lads are unbearable trying to create hype and excitement. They're not much better when a game is exciting, going overboard.

 

What's the story with Smith? Is he married with kids and that? Don't know anything about his personal life but he was definitely looking at Fitzgerald's arse with lustful intent. The awkward smile at the end gives away that he knows he's been clocked perving.

 

Michael Barrymoore was also married......
