Why is it ok for Klitschko to fight Adamek but people are shunning Haye vs Mormeck II? Thats what I wanna know.

Haye Vs Mormeck I was a battle. Mormeck has big punching power, even at Hw.

Yeah, Mormeck is kinda like a black Hulk Hogan with his facial hair.

But Mormeck hasnt had the chance to prove him self as a top 10 HW either.

Haye v Adamek would be the most interesting fight in the heavyweight division IMO.

:nut:rofl:rofl:nut:rofl.............get a grip, Mormeck is nowhere near Adamek and Haye, when he bothers to enter the ring, has been feasting on bums and hasbeens. With Mormeck it just continues and on the eve of Haye's retirement too. The fact that Adamek convincingly schooled and beat down O'Neill Bell in every single round, while Haye struggled with Mormeck should tell you something.

I would like to see Adamek come out in a southpaw stance, to give Wlad instant nightmares of when South African Cory Sanders lite Wlad up with those left hands he never saw coming.

    And see history repeat itself!!!

I'll be rooting for adamek but I doubt it, he'll get smashed. He isn't as good a heavyweight as byrd, chag, iggy, chambers, peter(1) as much as this is a live opponent for wlad, it won't mean much when we look back on his (imo when the dust has settled) top ten atg career.

What's to explain? They all have better resumes and I'd argue that Ibragimov is quicker than Adamek, Chagaev is a better technician, and Byrd is by far more accomplished and slicker. Adamek is a good boxer/puncher, but I don't think he has the style to trouble Wlad. Wlad's only losses were through attrition or by Blitzkreig (Sanders) and he's corrected his stamina problem so option one is out.

You simply can't hunt and peck and outbox Wlad, you have to go at him and get past that ramrod jab. I'm not sure Adamek can do that.

“I can officially announce that Monday evening I signed the contract to fight Vladimir Klitschko in September, in Poland for a heavyweight championship fight,” said Tomasz Adamek, the Polish light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion, who wants to become the first man in boxing history with belts in the three heaviest weight categories. “Everything worked out, we are all very happy with this development. Both sides agreed to all the points, and as far as we know, Vladimir already signed it too, so now we are waiting for television stations from US and Germany to setup the best possible date in September,” said Adamek’s longtime manager and advisor, Zyggi Rozalski.

“With my trainer Roger Bloodworth, we have eight months to prepare for Klitschko,” said Adamek. “I will fight one more fight before September, most likely in Poland. I will start my preparations in a couple of days, at the Poconos Mountains, although for the past two weeks I’ve already started my own training schedule. What I can say – I love boxing.”
