You have to love Adamek's heart being so undersized at heavyweight. However, even Arreola could hurt him and a shot to pieces Grant almost got the job done by throwing a few punches in the final round. This potential match does not bode well for Adamek at all.

I'm pretty sure that Wlad could KO him with a couple well placed shots without having to worry too much about Adamek's power. Vitali will just beat him down until the ref or the corner stops it but Adamek wants to test himself against the best unlike that ***** Haye so more power to him.

For those who didn't see it, here's the whole article from the main page:

Tomasz Adamek Says “You Can’t Compare Me To Shannon Briggs,” Says He Will Make Vitali Tired With Speed And Movement

By James Slater: Tomasz Adamek, seen by many fans as the best possible challenger capable of putting an end to the dominant reign of the Klitschko brothers, was shocked by this past Saturday’s clash between Vitali Klitschko and Shannon Briggs.

The skilful Pole, who faces tough warrior Vinny Maddalone in December, told Fightnews.com that the October 16th beat-down “Dr Iron Fist” gave the too-brave-for-his-own-good Briggs was one of the most terrifying fights he has ever seen. “Goral” also made it clear that he has a much better chance at beating the WBC heavyweight king, due to his style of fighting; a style that is 100-percent different to Briggs’ near-static approach.

Adamek says he will use movement, speed and “constant position change” to unravel and tire out the 39-year-old Ukrainian.

“Shannon was basically motionless, no head movement, no movement at all, with his hands low and standing in front of one of the hardest hitting men in the division,” Adamek said of Saturday’s brutally one-sided fight. “He fought like he wanted to die in there. [He] just went through the motions, sheer will, not even trying to defend himself or use even most basic techniques.”

Adamek is not alone when it comes to being quite appalled at the one-sided affair. The former 175 and 200-pound champ also joined those people who criticised the referee on Saturday night, claiming the fight should have been stopped. Adamek, a good guy, also expressed his concerns for Briggs, and wished him a speedy recovery.

Now, moving on to his own, seemingly imminent challenge of Kitschko (imminent unless Vinny Maddalone can cause the upset in December, of course!), Adamek spoke of how he will make it a much tougher night for the 39-year-old.

Just how will “Goral” defeat the much bigger, more powerful man?

“You cannot compare me to Shannon Briggs,” Adamek told Fightnews. “We have nothing in common. Starting with 60-pounds weight differential, and in his case, lack of everything which is my trademark in the heavyweight division: hand speed, quick movement, and constant position change. Vitali had some problems with smaller, agile guys like Chris Byrd and to some extent Corrie Sanders. Against me, Vitali would be more tired after three-rounds than he would be fighting Briggs for 36.

“[it will be a] much faster fight, much more energy spent defending himself, not from one but multiple punches.”

But can Adamek hurt Vitali? Moving in and out, letting fast combinations go sounds like a great plan, but if Adamek fails to land anything that slows down Klitschko, it may well be he who winds up burning the most energy; while Klitschko constantly comes forward, slowly wearing his man down. And if Adamek does get tired against Vitali, what then? Can the smaller man’s chin stand up to even a fraction of the bombs the WBC king landed on Briggs’ chin?

Adamek is certainly no fool, and he has done his homework when it comes to studying both Klitschkos, but is he simply too small to derail them?

Adamek has merely average KO power at heavy, as well. Don't forget that important factor. The brothers would walk right through him..... Vitali would have a field day on Adamek and he'd fall mid rounds..

That was Golota's plan. To walk through and overpower him. Prior to the fight Andrew said things like "the ring is not a soccer field". Even a washed up Golota has insane power. But power is useless if you can't land. Adamek had enough zip to even floor Andrew. From a betting perspective you have to pick K2 to beat Tomasz but I would not be surprised if Adamek puts up one hell of a fight. Let's not forget that even Steward predicted Golota to beat Adamek. Frankly I think even today's version of Golota could beat Briggs.

I know Golota is your guy, but there's no way Golota could beat Briggs.
Golota was knocked down in the 1st round by Ray Austin, who Wladimir KO'd in the 2nd round using one hand the entire time.

Golota was a very good fighter in his time, I enjoyed watching him. But truth be told, he's just too old now.

I know Wlad is your guy but Briggs was a standing punching bag for 12 rounds and probably landed 3 punches on VK all night. Golota UD Briggs.

Sounds like you're wrong. Adamek will fight both brothers if given the chance. Count on it. Actually, you've got to be pretty ignorant of Adamek's entire career to even make that statement.

I guess winning 8-9 rounds qualifies as barely winning? Most thought it was a comprehensive win by Adamek in Arreola's back yard, in just his 3rd HW fight. Who did Vitali beat in his 3rd HW fight?

This was also the logic used when Adamek faced Arreola. Granted, Vitali is a grade or two better, just wanted to point out that the power and size argument has been used with Adamek ever since he decided to move up to Cruiserweight. Do people ever learn?

You can't compare the two, cause Vitali started his pro career at heavy. Adamak had a shitload of pro fights under his belt when he fought his third heavy.

I don't doubt that Adamek will try like hell, and will certianly give it an all out effort.

But trying, and doing are two different things. They ALL have a good plan and alot of ambition, til they get in there and realize the size and power difference is too much to deal with..............the best laid plans go out the window once the punches start landing, and there will be nothing Adamek can do about it.............all the rest learned, and Adamek will, as well. Let's hope his confidence doesn't get too damaged in his probable brutal loss, and he comes back to have a productive career fighting the rest of the divsion.

Adamek is one of the top 5 or 6 at heavy, I would say. I fully cknowledge what he brings, yes.
