Tua is 5'9" and Adamek is what, 6'1". There's your 4 inch difference. Adamek won't fight each other short term, as both are trained by Bloodworth, and Bloodworth said they were on different paths. Bloodworth said that Tua wants a fight sooner, whereas Adamek needed to fight more quality opposition. Beating Arreola, however may have changed all that.

i feel that being a part of the same camp works pretty well for both Tomasz and David. I guess just by looking at each other training and sparring Tua can learn how move better whereas Adamek can see a real pucher in action and learn how to avoid bombs coming his direction. A little sparring session between these two would be interesting to watch. I know that at this moment it wouldn't make much sense but they should try just to see how it's working out for them.

Tua's legs could almost rival any steroid filled bodybuilder's legs. I think Tua might've missed his calling in life. He could've been a samoan Arnold Schwarzenegger. :yep

Are you talking about the ancient/shot, way past his expiration date, slow as molasses Golota who had come back from a career ending torn bicep and faced Adamek with no warm up fight? Even though Tua hasn't done much lately I wouldn't be comparing him to Golota right now.

He doesn't NEED to repeat a Lewis or an Ibeabuchi, because TUA isn't the same fighter he was back then. I've seen 6 or 7 of his last dozen fights, and I even tracked down a copy of his DREADFUL fight with Friday Ahunanya.

Tua isn't aggressive anymore. He doesn't have stamina to maintain a decent workrate anymore. He's no better of a boxer than he ever was. He's still short with no reach. If he still came forward throwing 50 punches a round, I'd say Adamek might be in trouble. But Adamek has more than enough of a beard to withstand whatever early push he might make, and after the first couple rounds, beating Tua is no big thing. Hell, just throw punches. Friday Ahunanya outboxed Tua when he did.

The last decent (not even good, but C-level) fighter Tua beat was Michael Moorer all the way back in 2002. He was lucky to get a win over Cisse Salif. He couldn't dent big Friday, who was knocked out by Mount Whitaker and put on ***** street by Sergei Lyakhovich. All of his opponents since Rahman have been handpicked, either guys without a beard, guys who can't box, or guys who don't throw punches (and that pattern really goes all the way back to the Byrd fight). There's a reason for that. Even if Tua and Adamek didn't have the same trainer, Tua wouldn't go near Adamek with a ten foot pole.

Adamek would comfortably beat Tua, easier than Arreola...

Are they sparring together? That could really benefit both, in a lot of ways.

:roll:i SAID look at their overall resumes idiot. OBV by fighting only 3 HW fights, Adamek won't surpass Tua's HW accomplishments, as that would be quite pathetic on Tua's part. OVERALL resumes are no contest. Adamek is a proven champ, across multiple weight classes. Tua was merely a temporary contender, a minor blip in the HW story.:hi:

Exactly. I never understood why Tua gets so much praise. He knocks out or beats a bum and it's "Tua's back, Tua's back! He just needs 91 more tune up fights and he'll be ready for Wlad." and then he goes off the radar for another year before fighting again.
