[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wz01gC9NjjA[/ame] :boxx:boxx:boxerWAR TOMEK!! :boxer:ko:ko This is going to be a great fight regardless of the outcome. Guarentees from Arreolas trainer that he will come in great shape for this fight. Anybody know Arreolas current, or at least even recent weight? Adamek much faster, slicker, better rounded boxer taking on a much bigger, powerful, relentless pressure fighter. Wonder what both guys will weigh in for the fight. This will be aired on HBO Boxing After Dark.
If Arreola comes in at a good weight, he knocks Adamek out. I'd predict a 10th round stoppage or something. Sadly, thats a big "if" and there's a chance Arreola will think he can overpower Adamek and win by just being so much bigger and if he does that, he'll be suprised. In that case, Adamek would win. Speaking of weight, Adamek should be no more than 215lbs. If he doesn't lose that weight quick, he's a knockout waiting to happen, either against Arreola or one of the three elite heavyweights.
I don't know mate. I sometimes chop and change with a pick in a 50 50 fight and something in that video just makes me think Arreola could nick this. We'll have to wait and see I guess.
Fair enough. :good Definently will know in about another 2 months. This fight is comming up quick, the Estrada fight was only like a week or two ago.
I'd like Adamek to gain no more weight then in the Estrada fight, he might have already been too heavy there. As far as Arreola comming in shape goes, I have a feeling he will surprise everybody and come in decent shape for this fight. Reason being is I have read a couple promises from the Arreola camp on this issue. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he spends most of his free time at the local Chalupa shop.
I need to ask, but I notice the Ring still have Tomasz Adamek as their champion. With Adamek's intention to carry on a Heavyweight I thought he may have given it up. Calzaghe vacated when he moved up to Light Heavyweight, or maybe Adamek has told them he may move back down.
If Fatso Arreola couldn't come in at a respectable weight for Vitali, I doubt the lazy slob will for Adamek.
Althought I am supporting Adamek, I want the Chris to come in the best shape. It will be more entertaining fight then. Whats more its always better to win/lose vs opponent in shape, like it was in Estrada fight, when Estrada was in the best shape ever. More demanding opponent, more significant the victory.
Adamek should target chinney fighters at HW I have a feeling Areola will be to tough for Adamek and may well get KOed.
Team Adamek declared that they will vacate the title soon after the Estrada fight. However it doesnt really matter now, because for this title may fight Wlodarczyk and Cunningham only, and they have scheduled opponents.
that being the case he would be as well hang on to it in the short term and see what the outcome of the Arreola fight is.
