Tyson - at his absolute peak - would have a chance vs Wlad. But let's not forget that B Douglas beat a young Tyson... and Lennox carefully destroyed him

Douglas was no great HW and many fans think LL had a "glass jaw"

I'm sure of one thing, Adamek - 2 times world champion in lower weight divisions with his expierience and skills can be very dangerous to Vitali. Against Wlad hmmm... I give him slim chances.

You've lost the argument so you're resorting to lame insults. You're either some young product of the US school(ed) system or an adult not taking his gov't supplied meds. No, seriously.

I'm probably a good bit smarter than you just based on you're "reasoning" in this argument - which sure as hell is nothing to brag about :lol::lol:

At any rate it's not interesting to me to trade childish insults with a stranger on a f'n sports mb - which is half of what goes on in ESB :-(

When someone acts like Joe Frazier beating Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster is highly unlikely, no argument needs to be made. It was good for many laughs though. I think I'm going to save that comment...:lol::lol:

I dont think anybody in the division is too short, just too slow. Get a nimble quick heavy puncher in the mix and they can be in and out doing damage before a Klitchko jab stops them.

Thats why i STILL think Haye could just possibly do the business on them, but even as a fan of his id happily accept hed be a big underdog.

Gee, I don't know, kid. I mean, Sanders and Brewster both beat Wladimir, the GOAT and who did Frazier ever beat? Glass-jawed, feather-fisted, 3 or four inch shorter than Wlad, absolute fraud, Ali? Nah, old Joe couldn't keep up with elite dudes like Brewster and Sanders! Yikes!

I don't think that's the main reason these guys keep losing to the bros. Several opponents had reach advantage over the Klitschkos and still got stretched. Reach advantage can be overcome with skills, however the Klitschkos are both tall AND skilled and that the difference between them and the Grants, Thompsons or Valuevs who lost to the Adameks and Chagaevs. A short fighter of Tyson's calibre could still get to the Klitschkos but no such talent is fighting at HW at the moment.

Explain how any heavyweight out there, good, bad, great, whatever, can improve upon the great effort that Chagaev put into beating Wlad.

He did exactly what it would take to beat Wlad. But Wlad proved he is too good to be beaten by even a great, smaller/medium sized heavy.

Some tasks are just too big to overcome, and until Wlad or Vitali start to fade, even the best, most well trained, fastest and most determined of hte heavywieghts still get their heads taken off as they try like HELL to get inside and take take him out.

A Tyson would give one of the brothers fits, yes, but nothing short of another Tyson will go any good.

The reason, this is the first time we've ever seen heavyweights this skilled, disciplined, athletic, AND oversized.

The Wlad of the last 5 years is virtually unhittable. He's a completely different fighter than when he lost to Sanders and Brewster. And Frazier and Tyson would both have great trouble getting past his jab.

I completely understand why Decker thinks it's laughable that little Joe Frazier could ever hope to duplicate the amazing performance of greater and fatter SUPER heavyweight ATG, Nate Tubbs against then undefeated ATG Corrie Sanders, putting this iron-chinned super heavyweight down for the count in the second round.

No, he did not. He didn“t fight small. He stumbled forward getting jabbed. That was not intelligence pressure and his defence was subpar. If he would have fought out of a crouch, using some lateral and headmovement, attacking the body, avoiding the jab he could have won.
