****, i can't believe this fool is back. let's get a few things straight: 1.Dawson will ALWAYS outbox Adamek. Can CW Adamek KO Dawson? of course. 2. Diaconu presents no problems to Dawson whatsoever. that flat-footed plodder would be beaten to the punch during every encounter and be taught a boxing lesson for 12 rounds straight. now **** off dude. you hate Cotto, Dawson, PBF etc. **** how can anybody hate ****ing Cotto? jesus christ.
Before the start of the 10th round, Mcgirt clearly says to Adamek "If you keep getting hti like this Im going to stop it"
That's why the fight will never happen again. You understand that being knocked out is part of boxing, right? I knew that you did...Dawson doesn't want what Cunningham and Banks got. Dawson shamelessly ducked Diaconu and that's because Diaconu's huge left hook is made for Chad's low right hand. At one point Chad was going to take the fight, the next time around he was flying to Mexico to beg the WBC Prez to never make him have to fight AD. Draw your own conclusions. Bye-bye belt, hello 40-year-old circuit. If Dawson felt AD was no threat, he would have simply defeated him, made a career-best purse (at that time) and kept his belt. But he didn't. Why? Fear. You **** off. Dawson and PBF are both runners, which I can't stand. Cotto is a preening HBO hype job who uses NYC to get decisions he shouldn't get. Happened to Mosley and Clottey. Why didn't I like those fights? Because Cotto ran and was rewarded for it. BS. I was one of the few on here who knew Margo would crush Cotto. I respect Cotto, a lot. I've said it before -- his timing is some of the best in the sport. However, his defense sucks and his shiny new bike isn't so hot. And I don't like HBO hype jobs. Same thing with Jermaine Taylor.
:rofl I cant believe you actually believe that Diaconu had a chance of laying a hand on Dawson. Dawson didnt duck Diaconu, he chose to take on 2 high profile fighters in Johnson, and Tarver. guys who are more known in America and more likely to get him noticed for beating. Diaconu, is a nobody, who we'll never hear about for the rest of his career.
Of course -- every boxer wants to turn down career-high paydays and drop their belts when they know they can beat a guy. Sure, definitely. Diaconu absolutely would have hit Dawson and that was the fear. His constant pressure catches up to you. It did Pascal who wisely fought at a distance. At some point, you have to exchange. Pascal held up through sheer will. Dawson? We'll probably never know if he could have. But we do know this -- after the first time Dawson agreed to fight AD he didn't want to find out, either.
Career high pay days mean little when Dawson is trying to shore up his fan base and future prospects, which include fighting the biggest high profile fighters at the time. And thats Johnson and Tarver. Are you seriously insinuating Dawson would duck Diaconu in favor of 2 more accomplished and skilled opponents after just beating a similar but more skilled and stronger fighter in Adamek. atsch You act like Diaconu is some sort of knock out puncher. He has friggin 15 KO's in 26 fights. Diaconu absolutely would have hit Dawson and that was the fear. His constant pressure catches up to you. It did Pascal who wisely fought at a distance. Please. Pascal held up because he was simply the better boxer and Diaconu doesnt punch has hard as you give him credit for, we can see that in his KO percentage, which doenst exactly say slugger. Pascal was able to dodge most of Diaconu's punches with his hands at his waste. And he's supposed to trouble a faster natural lightheavyweight in Dawson? Please.
That he was. Adamek was getting the snot beaten out of him in the ninth. It was pretty much the only good thing McGirt did or said all night. That said, I would have given Adamek the 7th, if not for Dawson getting a gift 10-8 round due to the trip. I also gave rounds 10-12 to Adamek, so the fight was pretty competetive overall, not this whitewash that some people are seeing, IMO.
That's why it is an enticing fight. It's dangerous for both men, more so for Adamek in the eyes of many.
I have to say, I'm not a big fan of the Rocky Bull13 account making the same lame post regarding the cruiserweight division eighteen times. I liked that gimmick better when it was called koki kameda.
The more you talk about Adamek, the more you sound like a bitter hater. Johnson would be a huge underdog against Adamek. Adamek would probably stop Johnson in 9 or 10 rounds, it wouldn't be pretty.
Really? Sorry, I love both...probably Adamek a bit more. But this would be a twelve round FOTY and I'd put my grandma's jewelry on the over.
If you don't think Dawson wouldn't school Diaconu 12-0 I got some real estate to sell you on the Brooklyn Bridge.:deal Dropped to belt to face a better fighter for more money on Taver. BTW I love how you fail to mention it was Diaconu who pulled out of the first fight with Dawson with a hand injury.:deal You can spin it all you want but you bashed Dawson for not rematching Johnson no that the fight is set you give him no credit for taking it. You're a very hypocritical guy and can't admit when you're wrong that's a horrible quality to have.
