Hopefully in the rematch he would invest in the body more and work off a stiff jab more often, keeping an effective distance. I actually thought USS had ADAMEK out of there late, TA looked ready to go. I was waiting for Steve to triple the jab followed by a hard right.

I knew this was going to be a great fight. When steve got boooed in his own country i think that may have prompted him to fight out of chararter.
In a losing effort I still think he did more to boost his stock. Adamek isn't in a position to make huge demands as he's in a shallow division w/out a name to fight. This is the only fight at 200 lbs. Steve could very well win the rematch if it were to happen.
And the public already called for it!!

Actually it is. If he doesn't give Steve a rematch, he is cheating the fans. This is boxing. Great rematches have to happen.

YOU had him winning the 11th. Your card and my card aren't official.

Are you saying we may actually get to see a rematch between Dawson and Adamek? That would be ****ing awesome!

If there is no rematch, Cunningham messed up. How do you know this? Steve lost his title before and got a rematch. Anyway, how can the Dawson rematch happen, and what weight would they fight at?

I gave Adamek rounds 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 11. A bunch of those were close and could have gone either way. I put an * next to 12, as I thought both were very close.

With the three knockdowns, that made it 114-111 for me. (Why did so many score round for 10-9 instead of 10-8???).

Good post. I had it a draw also. I don't mind the decision though. I didn't see Adamek win rounds on boxing ability, but a few of the early rounds he was fighting back enough to maybe warrant a round betwen the knockdowns. Remember, one of the rounds Adamek was being dominated before he caught Steve. That could be a 10-9 round though I scored the round 10-8.

this fight only makes Dawson look that much better, I guess Slappy won't touch Dawson with a 10 ft pole now.

I can't wait for the rematch. I think there isn't a bigger money fight 4 either @200. Also, I doubt DAWSON jumps to 200 to fight someone he dominated @LHW, but u never know. I'm really happy for ADAMEK. I remember when TA fought Briggs the first time. What a war and he showed HEART.
