This is a really good fight for the Versus network. A big improvement over most of their Bob Arum cards. I like Cunningham by decision but its a tough fight between two of the divisions best.

damn, good fight. makes no difference to me personally but do ya'll think that it loses a lil luster because its on VS instead of HBO or Showtime? Again, it makes no difference to me, Im looking forward to it

Man, Cunningham's inactivity is driving me nuts. Dude should be fighting 2-3 times a year with that division being as wide open as it is. I'm sure it's more on King than him, but fighting once a year isn't going to get him to his goal of unifying the titles. He's too good a fighter to keep on the sidelines.

This is going to be a hell of a fight though! Adamek looks alot stronger now that he's not having to drain himself down to 175. Either guy winning wouldn't surprise me.

Adamek has been more active lately and is more experienced. He has good power and a solid chin, which Cunningham will not be able to crack. He is fearless and is not afraid to get him, which you can't say the same for Cunningham. As far as their speed goes I am not sure who is faster, and one big disadvantage for Adamek is the 7'' reach difference. Adamek is a good all-around fighter. He knows how to mix it up, as well as box, so he will be able to adjust to the various conditions of any fight. I pick Adamek UD.

    :happy:happy:happyGO ADAMEK!!!!!!! :happy:happy:happy

    Update.

Adamek's camp last week claimed that the deal is done but this is how it looks. They booked the venue - Newark, the made the deal with Versus, they set the date but guess what they forget to sign the contract with Don King

It is not signed yet and it looks like wont be until the purse bid which will take place on 28th September. There is a possibility fight will land eventually in Poland but nothing sure yet. Polish promoters now has bigger and better things to do.

All in all, the fight is still on but the date and venue is yet to be decided.

This is really a pick em fight IMO. Adamek really impressed me with his win over Bell and USS has been inactive.

    My qeustion is:

What the F*ck he is still doing with King instead of signing with Oscar, Arum or DiBella who'd put him on the mainstream tv cards ?

Adamek impressed me I thought he boxed well showing a good jab. Bell was the former champ and was soundly beaten.
