It seems that before fight Cunningham was #1 and Adamek #2 in the division ... so?

Ring Belt, yes. Linear title....I don't think so. Adamek should easily be able to unify this division. I suggest he do so and then take on Cunningham and possibly Dawson.

It would make perfect sense if Dawson capture linear title at LHW ... or at least beat Joe for Ring belt. Perfect rematch after the years between two "real" champions from two neighbor divisions. This time no excuses for Adamek about the weight draining.

Virtually clean out ... there is always something which may keep them away but if they establish them self as the real champions at their divisions I think the money will be for the fight to be on.

True Dawson beat Adamek for like 9 rounds but the other true is that he was lucky in the last 3. If they fight at cruiser weight limit the latest 3 rounds may easily last for the whole fight.

Adamek is clearly the top Cruiserweight in the world right now.

Dawson did beat him decisively, but I don't think he would necessarily do so again, especially at 200 pounds.

The lineal title was vacant after Haye went up.

Adamek-Cunningham was the fight between the world's best cruiserweights, so I think it counts for the lineal title. ABC belts are bull****.

It was for the lineal, Ring Magazine title.

I believe it was the Fight of The Year.
