Adamek fast becoming most overrated fighter on forum.

quite frankly it waz a impressive win by adamek but ONE win and so many think hez gonna tear through the heavyweight division ?

im not convinced or excited about hiz chancez although i wish him luck

 

that is true and to be honest i worried at first about adamek at heavyweight but i think he's got a chance

the man puts on the weight well and his style, COULD transfer well to heavyweight. traditionally, the strong pressure fighters have trouble moving up as their physical styles are disadvantaged by being smaller but in this era i think he has the ability to wear down the big (read:fat) men at 200+ and get late round TKO

the disadvantage for him is that his fights will usually be wars and he'll rarely KO heavies early. I hope you're right and he makes a ton in one or two fights (say taking on Haye, Ruiz, or the white wolf) and then heading back south

Adamek is very crude and slow.

What he does have is heart. A fight with Andrade or Froch (who are both better than this Briggs guy Adamek met twice) would have been good. Adamek has been lucky and has either moved away after he was exposed (at LHW) or after he got a lucky win he knew he probably could not repeat (CW) and now he has the circus win over Crazy Golota too. I think his CV looks far better than his skills. And he has his heart to than k for that. Froch's CV also looks far better than his skills.

 

You're laying the terms "crude" and "slow" to absolute waste.

 

He is nowhere near the most overrated fighter on the form, PW is miles ahead of him in that category. What's crazy is that PW is actually really good too, but some people act like he's ATG already. There have been threads pitting him against the elite and 168 and 175, and some believed he seriously had a chance.

Adamek is a solid CW but it's impossible to tell what he can do at HW and people are talking about him against the Klitschkos. Even guys like Haye and Tua would crush him right now, he needs a couple more fights before people start talking big.

Such a shame Briggs never had the ability/time to proove himself more in LHW cause everyone just looks at that victory as "meh" with not even watching it nor even realizing the whole story of the warrior that is known as Paul Briggs.
