Adamek fast becoming most overrated fighter on forum.

Yeah that's what I said earlier I agree I think Haye is the most overhyped fighter right now.......period.

Im a big adamek fan, but hes a notch under haye(whos overrated as well)

Adamek as a very exciting style but, his chin and power is untested at heavy weight......

Golota is a glass jaw bum, and was never known for power (also he never hit tomek with a good shot).

SOOOOO, when adamek ko's a solid chin heavy (peter,ditrimenko,valuev,vitali,arreola ect...)

and takes a shot from (haye,wlad,arreola ect...)

His whole heavyweight train is hype!!!:hi:

I think Adamek is rated just about where he should be to be honest.

The guy is beatable, that has been proven by Dawson and to an extent Cunningham - he can be outboxed (and I think most people know this). However, that should not detract from the fact that since losing to Dawson he's become the man at CW and is looking to expand his resume more at HW. He punches hard..has a good chin...and a huge heart.

I'm a big fan of his and look forward to most of his fights, but I'm not sure how successful he'll be at HW. Best of luck to him though.

 

Comparising him to Haye (which is natural, because both were the champions in CW division), I see many advantages on Adamek's side. To me the most important factor in HW division is resistance on punches. Boxer must be prepared to receive the punch and Adamek proved he has got one of the best chins in boxing today. And still he is one of the quickest HWs. When he improves his defence, he will be one of the toughest guys at HW. He is already very tough guy, but he can be even better. Adamek champion in the second half of 2010 :thumbsup

 

He has the power to hurt Haye & Haye's been hurt b4. Thats why a lot of people give him @ least a chance.

 

Noone really rates Adamek that high

Why? To make a long post short: it doesn't take much to be good in this division now-days.

 

Honestly, i just think haye is a terrible match up for adamek :-(

Haye has him on speed, power(not by that much), skill, footwork, trash talk

Adamek has the chin, heart, not to mention power but his defense sucks. I can DEFINITLY see adamek getting hit by well timed bombs, (**** even grandpa andy slipped a decent shot in) and that ****ing WORRIES me. I dont think adameks chin can take those bombs from haye. I think his chin gets ruined :verysad

but the fight needs to happen. **** the other heavies, at least these cruisers are exciting

 

How is trash talk a advantage?

That will more than likley motivate Adamek more, not discourage him.

Haye is just another puncher to Adamek.

Adamek took bombs from top notch punchers THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER, whilst Haye gets KD'd/really hurt when he faces a decent puncher.

Paul Briggs, Thomas Ulrich, Johnathan Banks and USS Cunningham all landed extremely hard punches that would of defiantly put a dent in Hayes fragile jaw. Adamek eats punches for breakfast, and Haye wont be any different than these guys.

Yea ok, maybe he wasn't at his best, sure ill agree to that, but he defiantly wasn't as shot as JMM when Haye KD' him and could of had him out in their fight in France.

1. Briggs isnt that heavy of a puncher. I dont remember him getting a ko win over good opposition.
2. Ulrich???? cmon man, why do you even bring ulrich up. That dude is a never was. I dont remember him koing anyone of note either.
BTW these guys are BOTH light heavys

3.Banks This is the one fight which i think adamek proved hes got good cruiser whiskers. The one right hand he took was massive, and he just smiled and asked for more. Banks dosent have any big wins, but you can see he carries good power.
4.Cunningham :-( he dosent have very good power. He is more of a boxer. I dont know what your trying to prove with this

And no **** hayes chin is suspect, thats the only reason adamek has a chance. Because haye is a better fighter then him, but he lacks chin and heart.

And oh yea, i think you dont know what shot means.

Because mormeck was the REIGNING undispited champ. and fought competitivly with haye. And now hes making an HW return. He wasnt shot in that fight, haye just whipped his ass.

Bell was actually shot. he had coming off a loss and looked like COMPLETE **** in that fight.
