Oh, I love this...Scoop Malinowski asked Grant afterwards what he was mouthing to Adamek, and apparently he was just asking how Adamek's family was doing.

Not exactly "I wanna eat his children" stuff here!

 

What is Adamek 6'3? He dont look as small as I thought against a 6'7 Grant! Quite suprised there!
And yes having watched the video that was the most friendly staredown I've seen.

 

Grant is 6'7... Imagine that's the same advantage Wlad has over Adamek. Is it that big after all? I imagined that it's much bigger.

I hope he gets a title shot at Vitali after beating Grant.
Haye would be a good alternative, but Haye doesn't like live opponents and he needed a gift decision to beat old Valuev.

 

because Vitali is fighting in October and after Wlad beats Peter, Wlad wants to fight in december.... more important... Adamek is WBO #1 and mand for Wlad (once he gets past Grant)

 

no way vitali will get Adamek first unless they wait on the WBO mand. Adamek is WBO #1.... Only reason Adamek would go after Vitali is because they think vitali has slowed and to old... BIG MISTAKE... also.. Adamek will make more $$ and wbo mand compared to a voluntary defense for Vitali

 

Adamek isnt that short as Chambers or Chagaev. He was quite a big cruiser, so he obviously isnt a small HW. Maybe a bit undersized, but definitely not small :good

Look that Adamek has thicker neck and forearms than Grant

:think What are you smoking? Arreola (billed 6'4") was supposed to be taller than Adamek (6'1") and everyone was surprised when they were basically even in height. Here with Grant, the height advantage is not as big as everyone believed. Adamek is up to Grant's nose basically, which is where he will be with the K-bros. That's only a half of a head in size differential. Adamek is a giant where it matters most- heart.

 

I too agree that from these pics at least the height differential ain't too bad tho i think it's cuz grant's more like barely 6'5 ( or adamek's taller than 6'1)

 

Grant is no way 'barely' 6'5, not unless he's either shrunk or Lewis is just 6'3 or so.

Nah, I reckon Adamek is just taller than his 6'1 billed height. Plus he has an extra inch of hair height Grant doesn't

Yeah in the pic, if LL is in fact legit 6'5, grant could well be 6'7 (tho it's close and who knows bout shoes, angles etc). yeah i think it's safe to say adamek is at least a little taller than 6'1 (as i remember thinking he was close to arreola too). maybe Adamek's using gh for his progression from lhw (J/K....)

 

Adamek said once he's 191cm. But many sources say he's 187cm or 189. So according Adamek he's like 6'2'' ? Dunno if I converted well, correct me if I'm wrong.

 

He's 6'-1 1/2" (187cm) on BoxRec.com. That can be wrong. If Adamek says he's 191cm, what does that convert to?

I think Adamek has found a way to grow an extra inch in order to deal with these giant HW's.
