Dude, My ex-***** kept the 27" Sony picture in picture set back in Illinois. But I still have this old MGA 20" tube in stereo from circa--1990..... It works.... The brightness has indeed dimmed, but that's natural for a set friggin' 20 yrs old that still works...... MR.BILLhat
At $49.95 (in HD), Marquez-Diaz II was literally a hundred times the value the Adamek-Grant PPV will be - and that's even with best buddies guerrero and Casamayor stinking up the joint!
I've never been able to get into the lower weight classes. Myself, I'd rather pay for Adamek-Grant....I don't think I've ever ordered a PPV from a lower weight class. Maybe one Oscar fight....maybe....but that would be it.
:blood I've never been able to get into heavyweights. They're incredibly boring for the most part. The only HW-headlined PPV I would buy is Adamek (vs. an interesting opponent, which Grant isn't) or Klitschko (vs. an interesting opponent, meaning essentially just Adamek, Povetkin, or Haye).
I've PPV'd everything at one time or another, so I give a **** about weight....... I like matches made in heaven or hell, for that matter....... That's no ****, either.... I had a black box from 1988 to 1993.... So I pirated for a good 5 years with no shame or remorse...... NONE! But some of this recent "Arum, King & DLH" PPV fights for 50 to 60 bucks have literally sucked ass to the max...... I've been catching the replays on cable the following week...... WORD! MR.BILL
exactly. the only outlet is ppv. however, whoever is marketing this fight should realize that 10-15 is about right. at 10 you'll get some boxing fans plus adamek fans. at 30, you've gotta be a die hard fan to buy- and i think the additonal buys at 10 so would offset the high amount to the hardcore adamek fnas
That is true....... Really, perfect planning here would've been a set offer of 20 USA bucks for "Grant-Adamek." At 20 bucks per pop, I'd bet the sales would really take off..... 30 bucks ain't bad, but its a stretch.... Some folks will pass on the 30 buck order...... Thus, sales dip...... My dad paid 15 bucks in 1980 to PPV "Leonard-Duran 1" and 20 bucks to PPV "Holmes-Cooney" in 1982..... Some folks **** about the cost there in them days.... I recall all that scene....... MR.BILLyep
