Yea most athletes eat five times a day. But those guys aren't cutting to make weight, you're categorizing boxers with runners, cyclists, and ball players no where near the same.

    You know the difference.

    Athletes are athletes.

Manny eats 5 meals a day.

Big whoop, he's not struggling to maintain weight.

Thats like saying cars are cars... You don't call a ****ing Lambo and a pinto the same thing.

Show me some other fighters that are eating five meals a day and taking in that much protein a day. It's only smaller guys doing everything they can to gain weight, even 95% of boxers going up don't need to do this because their bodies have just outgrown lower weight classes. Recently we've seen Hop and Jones do it, and that was only for one fight then they could maintain..

    That's because he's training.

If Manny struggled to maintain his weight.

He would lose weight in between fights, but instead he gains weight.

Manny isn't the only one eating / taking in a lot of calories a day during training.

Mosley, Cotto, Floyd, are all probably roughly in that range.

Manny would lose weight between fights if he struggled. But he gains weight, he goes into the 150s.

Yes he eats nearly 7000 calories a day, why do you act like Manny is the only one eating this much?

No way, if this was true why couldn't Floyd make 44 if he eats so much during training.

He has to take in 7000 calories for energy during training, dimwit.

Do you think this guy is just piling on the pounds continuously?

He was weighing in the 140's on fight night for some of his featherweight and super-featherweight fights. Explain that.

Yes which is why he has been so much stronger. during intense training it's always good to replenish what you have spent. But if you're over the limit like 99% of fighters you don't get that luxury.

    No way?

    :lol::lol::lol:

    There you have it people.

Pac is the only athlete known to eat 7000 calories a day and STRUGGLE to maintain weight.

You act like Pac is eating all 7000 calories.

My guess would be he's eating maybe 2500-3000 of it. At most.

The rest is the shakes he drinks that Ariza gives him.
