Calories are a measurement of energy, not weight. It doesn't mean Pacquiao is putting on weight because he's taking in that many calories. He's burning most of those off in training.

Is your whole point in this that Pacquiao is apparently eating 7000 calories to stay at the 147 range because he's naturally smaller?

Why do you keep saying athletes like we're talking about runners or football players?

Stick to the conversation boxers who eat five times a day and intake 5-7000 calories a day.. I'm still waiting.

    Heavyweights dont eat 7000 calories.

    Show you someone else?

I don't know another boxers personal diet information.

Michaels Phelps eats 12,000 calories a day during training because he has to put back in what he's burning.

If Pac was struggling, he would lose weight when he's not training but he gains weight!!!

Because athletes are athletes, just because he cuts weight means absolutely ****ing nothing.

He's cutting WATER WEIGHT, every human body has water weight to cut.

You're clearly not grasping this properly.

Once again... Why are you mentioning athletes who have no weight limit? You're making no sense.

    Exactly.

If Pac didn't put 7000 calories into his body he would start burning muscle, but that's not a sign of someone struggling to maintain weight.

No you're not grasping if you burn more calories than you take in you will be burning muscle also. Which is what many guys are forcing their bodies to do and come in weak.

    You're not wanting to understand.

it's simple, weight class has nothing to do with what Pac is doing.

Other athletes have weights where they want to be and where they feel they operate best and they MAINTAIN those weights.

So yes they have a "weight class"

    No **** :patsch

Many guys are forcing their body to do?

You dont even know what you are talking about.

Why does Pac gain weight when he's not training?

Because he's not burning 7000 ****ing calories a day.

My point was just to EZE who was implying that most boxers take in high caloric and protein diets during training which couldn't be further from the truth.

So why do you keep implying that most boxers eat five meals a day and take in such a high calorie diet.

It's different for each boxer, when you have boxers who maintain good shape near year round like Pac, Floyd, Cintron, they are going to be eating a lot more calories so that they maintain their current weight so that they dont eat away at muscle.

But when you have a fighter like Ricky Hatton, who needs to lose weight in camp, his calorie intake is going to be significantly lower.

His calorie intake will rise steadily once he gets to weight he wants to maintain, but every fighter wants to maintain a weight in camp.

Once a fighter who's comfortable at their weight class hits the part where they cant burn anymore fat, they are going to need to replace EVERYTHING they burn in order to maintain.

Pac isn't the only fighter to do this.

And only his fans have made the claim that he struggles to maintain weight.
