Well - I do believe he will have an easier time of getting fights and TV time i he goes to HW. Noone cares about CW and the last CW champ who went to HW (Haye) is right in the middle of it and getting plenty of exposure.

Can Adamek be successful at HW? I doubt it, but who knows.

His only chance is to hope that the younger, smaller heavys start winning titles. Haye and Chambers aren't all that big themselves and both have upcoming HW championship fights, though I would still favour both of them over Adamek, he's just to small to challenge a Klitschko right now.

Size is overrated IMO, Adamek would be a top 5 Heavyweight.

I agree, but he would have trouble with big b-level heavyweights, still probably get the wins, but i would favor haye and chambers to beat adamek...

Adamek is a tough sob but hes not a defensive master or a huge puncher, Id like to see him mop up Golota in 6 or 7 rounds but then unify cruiserweight, noone has ruled that div for ages if ever cos they are always hopping up to heavyweight for the $.
If a crsuierweight champion could unify and stay there for a couple of years it might invest the 200lbs with some status and get some money and attention there.
Hes not a big cruiserweight and he would go ok at heavyweight but cant see him beating the Klits or even cracking the top5 necessarily.

Top 5? No. He doesn't beat either of the Klitschko's, nor do I think he beats Haye, Povetkin, Chambers, or Arreola. Hell I'd favor Boytsov over Adamek. I'd much prefer Adamek stay as a CW, as there some intriguing fights that can be made with some up an coming fighters. There is also the "possible" fight with Hopkins. But HW division is where the money is. I can't even remember when was the last time HBO had a CW fight or had it as a main event.

Adamek is a pretty good fighter, he is the top CW right now and he is only moving temporarily to HW bc the fight with Golota was an oportunity too financially good to pass up.

After that he has good options in Hopkins and Cunningham, fights I expect him to take, if sucessfull then HBO may embark him on their ship and help get some big fights and unifications.

Anyway, at some point he should be lured by the HW division money, it's kind of a natural course for the top CW ruler. Also, right now he has been having a tough time landing meaningfull fights at CW. Jones, Fragomeni, Mormeck, Wlodarczik, Huck, Afolabi, dont apear interested. Flores and Godfrey chickened out, but maybe with HBO money on his side, then things might get interesting.

I couldn't blame him for a second if he did it- his pocketbook will thank him for the move up.

Until Cruiserweight purses increase, there will never be an end of titlists there being lured by the siren song of a heavyweight payday.
