look, haye-harrison on PAPER was a more competitive fight than this would be, simply because harrison is a big heavyweight that COULD have troubled haye had he attempted to throw his left hand and land it. im not saying it was a competitive fight at all, it was a mismatch but had audley landed a lucky punch he MIGHT have troubled haye. obviously he didnt even throw it and the fight was a disgrace blah blah blah, but adamek-jones would be even worse because jones wont pull the trigger either, and even if he DID, he wouldnt have the power to bother adamek. so it's even more of a mismatch as jones doesn't even have a punchers chance.
Total mismatch. Adamek is not a puncher at heavyweight but he still punches far too hard for Roy Jones who has no punch resistance and no legs anymore.
That's like Haye justifying a Holyfield fight by saying he's beat many top HW's. The Jones Jr that beat Ruiz is not the RJJ that we see today. Joke of a fight, don't know how anyone could justify it.
This would be a **** fight Haye/Harrison was a **** fight Two wrongs dont make a right, and Haye is a ******.
Yeah, from a pure sporting perspective, unjustifiable. But from a business perspective, there are few fights that would give Adamek more USA exposure (in prep for a showdown with Vitali). Alternatives like Mormeck or Holyfield or Rahman are riskier fights.
