Some really good responses here! I was wondering what happened when Vitali fought Byrd, so maybe we can draw some comparison & speculate what may happen on Sept. 10th. I know VK had a bad shoulder & that prob the reason he looked so bad. Or was it the smaller Byrd with decent movement that made VK look so awkward? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rLdggqtaWw[/ame] Of the subject, like Merchant said, VK should have hung in there for 3 more rounds (and basically do nothing) & still win the UD. What was his team thinking???
I guess i am the only one who sees Adamek as an offspring of that ******ed kid in deliverance and dumbo. Vitali will send him to the hospital.
I hope Vitali displays his knockout power, and gives us a dramatic ending. But Adamak is a very tough and skilled fighter, who is very fast with good movement. He does have a chance, but not much of a chance. Vitali by TKO, or even KO, round 7.
Did your pink unicorn and purple pony tell you this as Peter Pan sprinkled you with fairy dust? If we all just keep saying "I believe........." Dude... Really?
Byrd would make anybody look akward but Vitali himself looks akward anyhow when he fights weird style, However I think what happend was that Byrd started to hit Vitali at will, sure there may have been a shoulder injury but you dont quit because of that.. you fight on and prove your the champ... I am not sure that Adamek hits harder than Byrd but one could assume that, weather it will play a factor I dont know, but if Adamek and be slick for one fight it might be the recipe to get the job done in there.... it would be sick to see Adamek knock out Vitali but that isnt likely to happen at all... However I do think he has enough smarts to draw Vitali in, make him miss counter and circle back towards the center of the ring, if he can do that for 12 he has a good chance at not only winning but dominating the fight... but his mind has to be 100% focused on sticking to that game plan through out the entire fight..
Vitali will not KO Adamek. It will go down to the cards. This Vitali isnt the same that humiliated Arreola. He's fading, slowing down. Adamek got better from fight to fight. Arreola was just a stylistic nightmare for him
And while ppl say Adamek hasn't impressed them of late, I believe we will see the best Adamek yet in Sept. He will rise to the occassion, just as true warriors do!
I hope your right cus him lossing to Dawson and Cunningham doesnt exactly look good going in this fight..
you do realize you had to go back in time 12 years to give you a "***** in vitalis armor" not sure why you think ademek is similar to chris byrd....byrd was a "boxer" by definition....as well as a south paw....and he really didnt look bad...its just if you have to pick one fight as his worse..thats all most come up with,,, ademek doesnt have the power to hurt him...and thats like bringing a gun with no bullets to a gun fight
Dude, you jumped the shark with this one. Size matters. Both brothers are big men with superior work ethic and athleticism. I'm in the camp that believes Wlad may be the better technician but Vitali is the more natural fighter. Adamek has too much real estate to close and I see NO indication he can close it without paying for it. You make it sound like you think this will be a one sided fight in Adamek's favor because he is RJJ+ at HW. Wow. Just WOW! He was a LHW not that long ago and Vitali will make that evident. Sorry. I just don't think this goes anything like you believe it will. I have no dog in this fight so I'm on the outside looking in and that is how I see it.
