Same principle applies. The man certainly doesn't belong in a ring with a 250 lb block of iron facing him.
FOTY IMO!:good This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected That last pic is GREAT! Don't ever remember seeing it before. Worth painting for some Adamek fan!
Circus freak show. Fair play to Adamek for trying, but he's like a transvestite. Pretending to be something he very clearly isn't.
He isn't pretending to be a heavyweight contender, he earned that spot. Maybe you're insinuating that he's pretending to be a heavyweight champion? Well, he's going to have to earn that, too. But Adamek isn't a pretender, he's just the straight up real deal.
Even though most of his fights were at Lt HW, eventually it became too damn hard for him to make weight. The Dawson fight proved that...he was weight drained & thus, never fought at that wt again. Why kill yourself to make wt? What Adamek did was the perfect transition. And even though he doesn't have the biggest punch at HW, he's still a solid 217lbs & it is too bad that he has to face such a monster in VK. So I consider TA to be a natural HW. Not the biggest or strongest, but he has been able to get the job done so far. One more test... A MAJOR test. :bbb
He was just showing TA respect. But I doubt that if the roles were reversed that Adamek would never say such a thing. Vitali is a gentlemen, but a killer in the ring. Adamek is gonna have to be Superman Sept. 10th!
The more I study Adamek the more impressed I am. He thinks in the ring and has balls of steel, and more than that he's a professional and has beaten legitimate heavies. He's proven to be champion caliber, it just remains to be seen if he is at heavyweight...
Against Byrd Vitali went all out loading up with the hardest punches he could throw. These days are over, Vitali's avoiding injuries and resorts to arm punches. This fight will be very different from Byrd's.
