Ha! Thats a term Mary Carillo (tennis commentator) likes to use about a player who can show excellence in constructing what is going on around him to his advantage to win the point. This is what Adamek does in the ring. He finds a way to make his opponent look bad, no matter what the opposition may bring.

Why bash Adamek? He's a good fighter and he puts on a good show, always give it his all. I don't think he's an ATG, but I like watching him fight.

Adamek is fun to watch, yes, but the thread starter is right, he´s nothing special at HW.

 

Adamek is being hyped because he has an excellent Cruiserweight Resume, to people who are unfamiliar with his cruiserweight career, he's obviously not gonna have much hype.

 

Haye and Povetkin are ducking Klitschkos and dont want to fight them. Thats why both brothers want to fight Adamek.

I agree that Adamek isnt special at HW (despite Klitschkos there arent any special HWs right now). He was very special at CW. However while not being special he won 4 fights at HW in 10 months and FOUGHT a #1 status contender. What more can you prove after 1 year of fighting at HW?:huh

Haye's only advantage over Vitali is speed and age. Haye is as much unproven in HW division as Adamek. Their resume are the same level. While Haye beat bigger names, Adamek beat younger fighters. I dont have any problem when someone believes that Haye wins over Adamek. If they finally fight, Adamek would be the underdog. However they are similar size and to be honest Haye against Adamek would be a very competetive fight (whoever wins), while Haye/Adamek against Wlad/Vitali, both Adamek and Haye would be huge underdogs.

If they somehow get in the ring (Haye and Adamek), I believe that Adamek takes it - MD or SD. Tomasz is faster than any of David's opponents and has the tools to negate Haye's power. Whats more, if he is in trouble, he still has the cheen :smoke

 

He probably didnt watch Adamek's fights carefully.

 

He probably hasn't watched a David Tua fight very carefully in the last decade was more what i was thinking.
