Adamek is really on the Ken Norton level of fighters.

Norton was stopped by middleweight Garcia who was incidentally top 10 HW in early 70s so writing off Adamek is ridiculous. Adamek would be top 10 HW during 70s.

lol. He was clearly green vs Garcia. Norton easily stopped Garcia in the rematch. Garcia would probably stop Adamek too.

Adamek wouldn't be above Holmes, Foreman, Frazier, Bugner, Mac Foster, Bonavena, Norton, Ali, Spinks, Shavers, Lyle, Young, Mercado, Cobb, Roy Williams, and Cooney. He would lose to all of those guys.

And I'm probably missing a few guys that would beat Adamek during that era, the heavyweights were just so stacked.

I like Adamek, but this is a guy who was dragged through hell and back by Paul ****ing Briggs and outclassed by a still relatively green Dawson back when he was actually fighting guys his own size. His success in the current heavyweight division is just further damnation of the state it's in.

lol you back. I say Garcia was shot for the second Norton fight. 70s were stacked with boxers who were LHW or CW at some point in the career and you say Adamek would have no chance because he was not "proper" HW :patsch

Well, he wasn't. He did well to survive that long against Norton who had more experience the 2nd time around. If you actually watch the fight he wasn't shot.

Not true, there were plenty decent size HWs. anyways, Adamek wouldn't have a chance because he's feather fisted and doesn't match up well against alot of the HW opposition in the 70s.

Adamek is really on the "Ken Norton's little sister" level of fighters.

Norton beat Ali TWICE (not just once, despite what the corrupt judges said) and gave Larry Holmes one of the toughest fights of his life, losing a 15 rounder by only 1 point on all three cards.

Adamek is nothing. What a silly thread.

It's funny how Adamek is being put down by some of the same guys that praise Chisora and Haye as the saviors of HW boxing. :izzl

What's really funny is the only people agreeing with this are Adamek and Klitschko nuthuggers.:verysad

Norton beat guys like MUHAMMAD ALI, Jerry Quarry, Jimmy Young and Tex Cobb but yet Adamek who beat Chris Arreola and....... Michael Grant and Vinny Madalone and Kevin McBribe(and couldnt even drop the glass jaws of McBride and Grant) is on the same level????

OOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK whatever you say there guy.:good

No where in my post did I mention a single thing about a comparison between Adamek and Norton.

Reading and comprehension are not your strong points are they?
