This is going to be Vitali's 1st loss since L.L!

It would be great for boxing if Adamek beats Vitali, but I don't think it will happen.
    Too much of a mismatch.

bottom line i cant wait....vitali mentioned focusing on power punches instead of just arm punches...im not sure how much he can change at this stage of the game but it would be interesting to see him throw bombs...however it's pretty clear adamek will not stand toe to toe...tough fight as far as styles go but vitali is so long and akward that it will be tough for adamek (as fast as he is) to get in and out efficiently with out paying for it and as we all know vitali's punches accumulate..war vitali

Hope it creates more interest in the division because it's become stale and predictable.

I find this view irritating, why do so many people want the klitschko's to be beat?

Don't get me wrong, I love Vitali but if Adamek wins this it will mean a real boxing-boom in Poland plus boxing wouldn't appear to be so predictable any more.

What you're saying has truth to it sadly. I'm American and I don't care if the champ is. I just love boxing and to me the champ is the champ wherever they hail from.

On topic ,Adamek has huge stones to face Vitali, all credit to him for that, I know he will never give up in any way.

Big on Vitali for making the fight in Poland, I'm sure he didn't have to. Lots of good things here for HW boxing.:happy

I like and respect both fighters way too much but I know as the fight goes I'll easily find myself rooting and hoping for Adamek to win. Will be far too depressing to see Adamek lose that I don't want to think of it so I hope he pulls it off.

No, actually I'm from Germany :hi:
It would just be great for boxing to see a new face ruling the HW-scene not named Klitschko (or Haye, cant stand that Ali-wannabe clown).
That would set up a clash between Wlad and Adamek which would be very exciting too.
Vitali already has a great legacy, I don't mind if he wins, but if you ask me what would be best for boxing I have to say Adamek.
The Klitschkos ruled the division long enough now, we need some fresh air.
But like I said, i doubt Adamek has much of a chance.

Vitali will retire in one or 2 fights anyway...

Thats right but "passing the torch"-moments are always sth. special and good for the game if you ask me and it would be a big upset that shocks the world and gives new life to the division.
Adamek would be a big thing over night and a win over Klitschko would give him a lot of credibility.

I can't wait for this fight either... Adamek needs a perfect gameplan and execute that perfectly as well. It will be a very tough fight for him but I really hope he can pull off this miracle. That'd be a great story if he won the belt.
