Yeah, Mexicans will come of course, esp. for a heavyweight of Mexican parents. But its wortwhile to note that the fight is not guaranteed to take place there (MSG would be another logical choice) and actually, the fight between Arreola and Adamek is still just a rumour. Even if Adamek wins against Estrada, Arreola's camp has simply stated that Adamek is just one of the possible options and were surprised about the statements coming from Adamek's camp. I can't blame them for thinking twice about facing Adamek....it's a real risk for Arreola. IMO they will be watching the Estrada fight closely and I wouldn't be surprised if they decline to fight Adamek if he knocks Estrada out. As much as Arreola would get from HBO to fight Adamek, he would get much more for fighting Haye and thats probably his goal.

Arreola is made from thesame stuff as Adamek and would not be affraid to fight anyone, including Tomasz. But in terms of risk-reward against an unproven but potentially very good HW, facing TA is probably going to give them second thoughts. They do not need Adamek to get to Haye. Arreola's name recognition alone will ensure that match up if he wins against any old top 15 contender. Like i said, I think a lot of their decission will be based on how he does against Estrada. If he knocks Estrada out, they will find a way out of that fight.

Haha Pudzilla has no comparison in terms of body size/muscularity/strength combination..Not even Lesnar.

 

I haven't seen anything in writing to confirm this. What I've seen is a statement from Arreola's camp a week ago, saying the fight rumours about the fight being set, are way too premature and that TA was just one of the possibilites. I know theres some push from HBO to do this (which is why Adamek agreed for the short 3 month off period) but my guess is that nothing will be finalized until the Estrada fight and a spectacular performance by TA will give Arreola second thoughts.

 

this makes sense. But HBO doesnt control a fighter's destiny entirely. Team Arreola will still try to maneouver their way into another title shot.HBO still needs Arreola, considering he's the only US HW fighter even worth watching. If Arreala's people think TA poses too much danger (and they will assess this when he fights Estrada), they will find another way (e.g., faking an injury and reserving some other date with a different fighter).

 

I hope he is not......One thing i want to point out is i used to train with Golota back in the late 90's and i always remember him having really really bad back acne......now Adamek is with the same people that Golota was with and i know the one guy pretty good the manager Ziggy( nice guy but no angel by any means)....We all used to say it in the gym that he(Golota) was juicing back then......

 

According to bokser.org dan goosen recently said that from the few oponnents they had on their radar for arreola , adamek is by far the closest to sign with them. Also they're gonna watch adamek fight on feb 6th from ringside , maybe even arreola himself will show up , so it seems the fight will really happen if adamek gets past estrada.

 

His back acne was pretty visible in the second Bowe fight.
