Chambers is one of the slickest boxers today, if you can't see that then you are just dumb. His defense is on the level Floyd Mayweather Jr. Boxing analyst don't call Eddie Chambers a "slickster" for nothing. And you don't even have 1/15 of Eddie Chambers boxing skills.
3rd He didn't have time to put the weight on properly, he has now. Disagree, he does have a good size frame imo. Yeah cuz heavyweight is 201lbs. It's the CW division of the Amateurs.
Are you serious? Adamek was matching Cunningham's handspeed blow for blow and Showtime's commentators pointed this out repeatedly. You think wide punching, overweight Estrada will be quicker over the course of 12 rounds? You could very easily argue Adamek has one of the fastest hands at HW.
Adamek has balls the size of church bells and he can fight. Adamek would knock Haye out right now, but Haye will never fight him. It is Chambers who is with Balco!
Handspeed is one of Ademek's biggest advantages in HW div. Even if Estrada's hands are a bit faster, Adamek carries more power with them and may throw them with the same speed and precision for 12 rounds. Adamek is extremely efficient boxer, especially at HW.
U cant be serious , thats why povetkin taged him at will from 6 round further? Eddie is very good boxer but dont be ridicolous ,dimitrenko was overhyped bum who'd lose to sosnowski for example , and i feel sorry for him that he has to fight wlad as he has less than 0 chance to survive it , 2 slow on his foot
Agreed. Adamek can't afford to sacrifice bulk for flexibility or speed. I think he might be too heavy already. 215 for him is fine. When Adamek moved up to heavy, I thought his chances of being a top ten guy were slim. Slowly but surely, he's making a believer out of me.
Whatever you think about the Vitali fight, you have to admit Arreola has a good chin and throws a lot of punches. Even if Adamek is as good as a lot of people think he is (including me) he wont necessarily get past Arreola. If this goes ahead, and Adamek can take Arreola's best shots then this could be an absolute war
Povetkin didn't tag Chambers at will, he simply out worked him. Chambers blocked blocked around 80%-85% of the punches Povetkin threw, it's just that Chambers rarely returned fire. Dimitrenko wasn't an over-hyped bum, since Povetkin ducked him.
222 is pushing it. He'd be best staying around 215-218 pounds. Lighter he is, the more to his benefit against the bigger, slower heavyweights.
I agree- just not for the same reason- in heavyweight it doesn't matter that much if you're 218 or 250. look Chambers vs Dimitrenko not to mention Tyson
He looks very thick but he will probably get down to around 217 drop off about 5 I guess at 222 he looks really thick and is better off keeping his speed advantage. His hand and foot speed is enough to win fights bulking up and slowing down means he is going to fight their fight and that decreases his chances. Also does anybody think he may be roiding he started at 175 and did not give the indication of being that big. He went up 50 pounds since the beginning of his career and filled out solidly.
Not surprising since you pick everyone to beat Wlad Klitschko. Remember this quote? "I'm 100% positive Sam Peter will KO Wlad within 2 rounds"
