Com'on Tua is a joke, he is shot and was just hyped so he could try to come back and did not work he is worth less in his com back.

Why? Don't get sucked into the too big, too strong argument, which is what people use when they don't know **** about the fighters in question. Wlad has been able to dominate gutless and/or low skilled opponents at a distance. Adamek has so far been adept at moving in, doing his accurate 1-2 combination and moving out. Most important, Adamek doesn't mind being hit in the process and I'm certain Wlad will not be able to knock him out. Either way, I tell you Adamek will be Wlad's toughest opponent to date. Chambers and Peter are still the best names on Wlad's resume and Adamek is obviously a better fighter (with a better resume) than those two.

 

Adamek is a good fighter. But he hasn't been hig by anyone like Wlad. Arreola can bang, but his punches are slow and telegraphed. That looping overhand right should can be spotted from a mile away...Still, he managed to shake Adamek up several time. Also, Adamek is not a big puncher at heavyweight. He hit Arreloa with everything but the kitchen sink and he never managed to rattle him all that much.

PS Byrd is the best fighter on Wlad's resume. He was a legit champ win some good wins and Wlad dominated him twice. He had a much better record than Peter or Chamber when Wlad met him the first time.

 

I'm not going to argue that Adamek has a chance at stopping Wlad, only that he has a legit chance at beating him on the cards. I also think that Adamek was never hurt against Arreola and will be able to take Wlad's shots. Even when hurt, Adamek has shown a good ability to survive and win. Lastly, I would strongly disagree with Byrd being the best name on Wlad's resume. About a year before the Wlad fight, Byrd basically lost (officially drew) with a faded Golota and so the belt should not have been his. Either way, Adamek will be Wlad's toughest opponent so people shouldn't dismiss him so easily.

 

yeah, well i am certain that adamek will actually Try, give his best and make some difficulties for Wlad. But 2 big 2 strong can be a valid argument when certain boxer can USE this size and power, especially in order to paralyze oponnents actions. This "clinch every time he comes close" is really working for Wlad. Also we'll see what kind of power adamek has developed during this training camp as there been reports that they were working on it. He needs that power very much imo.

Cuz honestly can u imagine adamek outboxing wlad to get the decision?

Yes I honestly can imagine Adamek winning a close decission. Close because Adamek does get hit and will get hit by Wlad when he comes inside. I don't think Adamek's only chance to win is to stop Wlad but I do think he will need to have strong enough punches in order for Wlad to respect him and think twice before opening up (this isn't so hard with Wlad because he fights pretty conservatively even with over matched opponents). Adamek's excellent short punches will come in extra handy when Wlad tries to clinch. And we all know Wlad's chin is shite...no where near as good as Arreola's for example.

 

Nice to see Adamek getting the recognition he deserves. Tua still being #2 is a big joke.

Assuming Wlad gets past Peter, then it looks like Adamek could fight Wlad in December if he takes the fight.

I'd rather see a Haye-Adamek or Adamek-Povetkin fight in December. If Adamek took on Povetkin (probably a big-money event in itself) and pulled out the win, then his ability to negotiate with Wlad skyrockets, and a 3 million $ payday becomes a 6 million $ payday. But then there's always the risk Povetkin would triumph.

 

We all would love to see Adamek with Povetkin or Haye but those two are AWOL, seemingly more interested in padding their records than gaining credibility. Adamek is doing the right thing by targeting the K-bros, instead of playing hide and seek with Pov and Haye. God knows, Adamek's career was stalled enough by being put on King's waiting shelf at L-HW . Adamek promptly fired King's ass for the stalling tactics. He wants to fight. His activity level (example: 4 HW fights in 10 months) speaks for itself.

 

Wlad fought Byrd in 2000, before the draw with Golota. Byrd was coming off on a win against Vitali when he fought Wlad in 2000.

Remember the Dawson fight? How could Adamek outbox Wlad, someone who has never been outboxed in his life?

 

Brewster had 2 losses on his record prior to knocking Wlad out.

 

Knockouts can come out of nowhere. It's fine if anyone wants to make the 'lucky punch' argument against Wlad, that's pretty much Adamek's only chance, but it's safe to assume someone like Adamek, who is solid but more of a tough, rugged fighter than a technical boxer, wouldn't have a chance at outpointing a Klitschko.
