But Adamek is no. 3 for IBF, right, after Peter? So if he beats Peter, Adamek would also be mandatory for IBF! So if Wlad fights Adamek next, he'd be killing two birds in one stone and can fight David Haye sometime early next year!!!
it gets very complicated. The IBF would have to officially make Adamek #1 for it to count as the mand... it makes sense in that its a good fight for Wlad... mand or no mand is beside the point... If adamek is close to being the mand... he would most likely wait to get his mand shot as he would be getting a bigger payday as a mand and not a volunt
I wouldnt count on a fight with Haye anytime soon. The only way I/we at camp see it happening is hayes last fight before he calls it quits... if it happens at all. 50-50 with no options... I dont know what else would get Haye in the ring:huh
CHEF - I'm the biggest Vitali fan but please don't let him fight someone as pathetic as Briggs. Austin, Solis, Thompson, Dimitrenko, Liakhovich, Pianeta are all MUCH more deserving and better guys. Do you know anything about Boytsov? I don't think he ever plans to fight Vitali due to the Sdunek connection but what about Volodymyr? You ever hear either of them talk about Boytsov as a matchup or just in general?
NO. I havent heard anything. Maybe after wlads camp and I come back for Vitalis i will hear more, but right now everyone is focused on Wlad from both Klitschko teams I thought Briggs was a done deal:think Maybe im wrong. Ive been alittle out of touch since Ive been in camp:good
Sergei Liakhovich ranked number 13 by the wbc is much more deserving than briggs! Liakhovich has amazing heart and is always in exciting fights! He beat evans quinn last time! But the thing is he is also with don king!
Liakhovich vs Guinn was fun to watch but he got KTFO by Briggs Boystov sufferes from a hand injury since he got some hipe bone implanted into his right hand. He isnt with Sdunek anymore since some time he would be on a disadvantage because Sdunek knows him well though but hes only 24 he should do one or two tune ups to test the waters with his new right hand before he thinks about fighting a Klit. I dont want to see it right now but i think Boytsov could bring some exciting fights to the division in the future.
I read from an Adamek interview a few weeks ago, that he wants to become a mandatory challenger. HBO wanted to make an eliminator fight with Peter in December, but now Peter is fighting Wlad.
Copper miner? Go **** yourself you little Ukrainian third world serf....Putin ass licker. Wlad is a boring repetitive 2 fights per year robot and a fighter with a good ring IQ and some balls can take him off his game plan and we'll see if he has a plan B. The deference people pay to this guy is unreal, considering his weak opposition (not his fault, but its still the reality) and his deer in the headlight moments against bums like Purrity, Sanders and Brewster (totally his fault and a weakness everyone is aware of). People are way too impressed with his winning streak forgetting who he's actually beating in there. Not saying that Wlad is currently not the best HW. He's proven that he is.Until he's proven otherwise, he's the best. Just want to point out that, despite what his fanboys would have you believe, he's not invincible and can be outboxed. Knocking him out is not the only option to beat him. Look at Dawson, just to see an example of what can happen when people think the guy cannot be outboxed.
Don't you find it pretty sad that Team Klitschko called out Adamek when he was still a cruiserweight?
Why it was sad? It showed that they respect Adamek as a boxer, and it also showed the lack of quality contenders in HW div. They were searching for a good name and another easy win. Of course it was great step by Team Adamek that they didnt accept the offer then...
